Without reading the article, wasn't it still basically a failure? The British people voted to leave the EU in order to be able to determine their own path and their own policies, an opportunity they squandered by doing the exact same thing as the EU is doing. They didn't restrict immigration, they didn't push for free speech (and worse, have implemented a wrongthink police), they didn't create new trade deals that could have brought them back to prominence, they didn't argue for personal freedoms during the covid times, they didn't do anything whatsoever to help themselves and to create a better future for their descendants.
They had a golden opportunity to pave a path for themselves, and they utterly failed. And now they barely have a country anymore. London has already fallen, is already a land where the English are in the minority. They've fully embraced being invaded and conquered, and are actively fighting against their own citizens in order to ensure that no one can stop their current descent.
The problem is being ruled by globalist traitors, until you solve that, nothing will change. EU membership is just a convenient scapegoat for the failures of globalist policies. Now that you left the EU, the new convenient scapegoat is Brexit.
I don't keep up with the details of British politics super well, but didn't they basically drag their feet on leaving the EU so hard that it basically didn't matter that they voted to do so, they basically still were there and all their politicians were still in lockstep with it as none of them really were voted out?
It was a lot of too little too late to even vote on it.
Very true, but its even worse here because it would be like voting for members of the Republican Party to abolish the Republican Party and expecting them to follow through with it in any way but surface level.
At least we have some theater of opposing parties to get certain things moving, whereas Brexit seemed to be entirely put on the poll just to pretend they were listening with no one involved actually planning to do it.
Parliamentary systems like the britbongs don't elect their prime minister. Leadership of whichever party has the most seats simply selects whoever they want as the PM. And all their parties are run by autogenocidal cuckolds, so it's not like they have the option of voting their way out of that mess.

Brexit failed, because of the British themselves.
They're actively fighting and oppressing their own citizens because they've created the conditions for a civil war.
Wasn’t George Orwell a Brit? Read his books and you know what the Brits are up for…
His letters and essays are interesting too.

Yes. Illegal immigration increased instead of decreasing.
And even less is being done about it. :/

Almost like that's a common problem in the West.

inb4 borris. nah the brits keep electing leaders who can fuck them up the hardest.
They deserve every misery they receive.

nowhere has the option of voting their way out, voting is a scam.
In Britain the Monarch has to approve them as Prime Minister as well, I believe.
you deserve a bullet in the head for blaming people for the actions of their leaders.
