I still remember that the entire Covid narrative around the world shifted because John Stewart came on his show and stated the obvious.
I hate Stewart, but fundamentally, he probably saved lives by making everyone feel stupid for 2 seconds. That was the day that people stopped saying you should be imprisoned for claiming that the virus emerged from a lab in Wuhan... that studied Coronaviruses.
I'm just angry that everyone else gets to get fired from their job, get blacklisted from their industry, be disowned by their family, lose custody of their kids, or even be fucking imprisoned because we stated the obvious; but FUNNY MAN ONE OF EIGHT says the obvious, and the entire planet pulls a "we were always at war with East Asia".
The Colbert Report was just snark, but he was still able to occasionally tell jokes that you could tell were meant to be funny back then. Trump totally destroyed his mind.
If I never have to see his pedoface again, I'll be happy.
I dunno, seeing his mugshot or reports of a sudden demise at the hands of the vaxx or jogging engineers and doctors would probably be quite cathartic.
