Nothing highlights the contrast between the two sides quite like this. The left thinks the longer they've been in the US, the more sympathetic they are. This is backwards. The woman who has been here illegally for a month has done far less damage than the woman who has been here illegally for 35 years*.
The longer you've been in a country illegally, the more you deserve the consequences.
she's willing to leave
Yeah, she is now. Because she got caught. How much time did she have to get on a plane to Canada prior to this again?
* It could have been less than 35 years in this case. They don't tell you which portion of her 35 presence was legal vs. illegal. But if they're going to keep that to themselves, might as well assume the maximum.

Even ignoring the 35 years, I think it was back in March that ICE said you can get assistance and a free thousand dollar bonus for self-deporting? So 3 months there.
I love how outraged they are about the Gulf of America/Mexico.
I'm not a huge fan of renaming things and, even though I think Gulf of America actually fits better, it was known as the Gulf of Mexico for so long I do think it's silly to try to change it...but I love the outrage it causes, so it's all good.
I hate Ubisoft so much. They've just shit on customers one (thousand) too many times. Probably the only games company I have a more visceral negative reaction to is 2K and parent company Take-Two Interactive. The most frustrating part is, outside of their sports slop, they make some dang good games. So it stings that they hate us all and are utter fucking scumbags. Not sure how they don't have as bad of a reputation as EA/Ubi at this point. If anything, they do even more customer-unfriendly stuff.
Lastly...IS A GOOD FANTASTIC FOUR MOVIE TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?!
IS A GOOD FANTASTIC FOUR MOVIE TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?!
Apparently the best we are ever going to get in that regard is The Incredibles. Because Hollywood seems to get absolutely brain-broken whenever you try to make anything related to them.

You need the Fantastic Four to be good to begin with first. They have stayed relevant this long entirely on legacy (introducing Galactus/Silver Surfer) and Doctor Doom. Without him, they'd be a D list team brought out to fill a roster.
And it seems the people who keep making these movies know it. Its why they jump to Doom and Surfer immediately everytime, with the actual team being secondary to who is playing them.
I almost got into an argument the other day over the renaming, as they were claiming that the reason it was named 'Gulf of Mexico' was due to the coastline comparison and how the empire of Mexico was there first.
While I'm a little bit skeptical over the coastline argument, I almost wanted to start bringing up how the lady in question was defending a slave-based economy going back to the 1600s(or how it's a murderous narco-state in it's current incarnation), but in the end I just rolled my eyes and reminded myself I wasn't going to get into a historical/political argument over breakfast.
The entire conversation running up to it was just a depressing reminder of how much these people hate/dislike the country they live in. I can't fathom it.
A lot of the worst sycophants on steam are far-left Reddit tourists. They blindly shill for the corporation that ruined PC gaming and openly breaks consumer laws in most of the civilised countries it sells games in, so the idea of Steam being the shining white knight of gaming is a brainrot leftist position.
It’s in Steams best interests for stop killing games to go through because it only increases sales due to the games lasting longer and also decreases the amount of refund drama they have to deal with. The list of companies against it are all devs who use live services and would have increased costs if it passes, for example I imagine Supercell would be shitting itself at the idea of having to keep the servers open indefinitely for its long list of failed follow ups to clash of clans.

Stop Killing Games (as an initiative) isn't asking for servers to be kept up indefinitely. Adding a "vs bots" mode (if one doesn't already exist, never played clash of clans) or allowing P2P connections to let people keep playing would suffice.

Don’t LIVE IN THE US ILLEGALLY SO YOU CAN DRAIN WHITE PEOPLES COFFERS AND MAKE OUR NATION UNSAFE.
Bold to assume I want Elon.

The Venture Bros. also had a pretty amusing take on the F4, if you can stomach listening to Stephen Colbert.
Professor Impossible is an absolute evil bastard, so listening to Colbert voice him might actually enhance the experience.

This, I though fantastic 4 was gay even when I was a little kid.

Plenty of people here that opinion instead of being the best out of a bad bunch.
