They even invented a dozen excuses like "we were super 4d Chess spies using that to trick them" or "we wuz raped :(" to make themselves sound badass or like victims for doing it.

Yep, all the good women were selected out. I've heard a ancient tale from my mother from a time over a thousand years ago that was passed down generation after generation about good women committing suicide after their side lost a war, in massive numbers.
