Nowhere near enough, and not seeing anything about the guy who shot her being jailed for it, so token gesture at best.
The handlers of Biden preemptively pardonned the killer and Biden put a medal on him.
He's in his 80's and lived a very long, corrupt life without facing any real consequence. Dying of cancer in his 80's with the best paliative care possible isn't a consequence. It's more pampering.
Literally nothing could be. You could indict Hunter for treason and execute him in front of Joe and it wouldn't be enough karma because he'd forget it an hour later anyway. The only appropriate response for justice was missed 30+ years ago.
We can at least take solace in one of the few avenues that could genuinely hurt such an evil man, watching his favorite and beloved son die early while his fuckup crackhead one drug him down, all happened before his brain started to decay. And clearly he had enough sense left last year to recognize he is forgetting said dead son and is bothered by it.

That guy almost unraveled their entire house of cards, and his fuck ups still put them on a lot of back foots they didn't need. If not for his little laptop story blowing up, they might not have had to cheat so hard in 2020 that it arouse suspicion on the level that Trump came with an army to disrupt it in 2024.
He will be lucky if he isn't "found dead" from "an OD" in the next few years.
I'm okay with the perp getting a traditional lynching. Saves the taxpayer more money, and guarantees that there will be no repeat offenses from the fucker.

The trial's already done, isn't it? It's perfectly okay for the perp to be handed over to the victims at this point. I guess I should have used the word 'hanging' rather than lynching.
if they reach to settlement, then I believe this would have been civil action. there needs to be a guilty verdict in criminal court, but it sounds like the feds are too pussy to do it.

So about $2.3 billion, given the number of cases that mention "racial justice", Daquans and civil rights there, I'm going to ballpark that's 70-80% dindu's there.
A verdict against the fed would have been wonderful. After taxes and legal fees, that $5M won't go as far as they think. They would have taken the cash for a hollow victory.
No taxes on court settlements. The lawyers will take their 3rd though.
