I'm okay with the perp getting a traditional lynching. Saves the taxpayer more money, and guarantees that there will be no repeat offenses from the fucker.
the perp does deserve to be punished, but I would prefer we don't devolve into mob Justice. that never ends well.
the feds should be prosecuting him.
The trial's already done, isn't it? It's perfectly okay for the perp to be handed over to the victims at this point. I guess I should have used the word 'hanging' rather than lynching.
if they reach to settlement, then I believe this would have been civil action. there needs to be a guilty verdict in criminal court, but it sounds like the feds are too pussy to do it.
