Hah, that was another thing that I saw a while back, I think it was even posted here as well. Some anal-ysts published a report that said "Yeah sure Musk and his homeboys cut 180 billion in spending, but it cost 150 billion to do that!"
Okay so, assuming that's true (doubtful) he still saved 30 billion. And the costs are a one-time thing while the savings are per year. Oh no, how terrible!
On the one hand I agree, and under different circumstances maybe Trump could have even said he didn't want to have that all for him, but that's the other point: it's not.
Much like cropped images removing context the MSM claiming this parade is just for Trump is extremely disingenuous and you could probably make an easy bet that were any other POTUS in charge, regardless of party, the same type of parade would still be going on since it's the 250th anniversary of the US army. But of course "Orange man bad" so got to show the good things in a bad light.
There's something else to remember. They're putting the costs of this in a bubble to make it look bad.
In reality: Those tanks and vehicles and planes get ran, trained on, and driven around regardless. Those soldiers get paid regardless. The material already exists regardless. Literally all Trump is doing is having them drive 20 miles or fly in from an airbase, which are routine things that happen every day. The same money would be spent regardless. Literally all he's doing is arranging the timetable so they all overlap in DC for an hour to do some maneuvers. The actual "cost" that sets this parade as anything different than already-paid-for operations probably amount to less than half a million bucks and is mostly fuel.
The journoswine have been doing this for half a year now. They're trying to paint a parade for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the US Army as Trump's frivolous birthday celebration.
Dumb enough to support a Kenyan communist, a psychotic harpy with a trail of bodies behind her, a senile pedophile, and a retarded alcoholic whore for POTUS.
Nothing cheap about choked up healthcare, gibs and a housing crisis. At their rate, it's cheaper to hire Americans with a good proper wage. They don't, 'cause, ya know, the derpcrat party needs vassals to vote them into power.
They are getting a lot of mileage out of the fact that Trump and the Army just happened to share a birthday on coincidence. Next they are going to tell me that we made an entire holiday just to celebrate Dan Daly (Nov. 11th).
Also, daily reminder that you do not hate the media enough.
Okay, but we should have an entire holiday called Dan Daly Day. First: Great Name. Second, since it's the Marine Corps birthday, it's still basically the same thing.
A proper "America is back, look at how fucking awesome we are" parade is worth more in Morale than every single person criticizing this' entire lifetime of work.
Especially right now when we are knee deep in a lot of negotiations with countries who think they can walk all over us, who need this kind of display as a reminder of the sleeping tiger.
"For 100 dollars or its equivalent value in gold, platinum and/or uranium, operate the guns on the Presidential Baneblade and mow down a swathe of invading illegals and whiny antifa! One salvo each, firing 500 variable rounds."
You can fix the economy with that level of cash flow.
This is a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the US Army, which is also Flag Day, and which coincidentally is also Trump's birthday, so leftists are sneering about how Trump just wants to waste money on a fascist spectacle because he's actually worse than Hitler.
Parades probably won't count as mandatory hours for tankers or anything I'd bet. (I don't think tankers have hours).
This is fundamentally a propaganda effort to uplift morale of the Army and make the military more presentable and attractive after all the damage done to it from the Biden Regime and Mark Miley.
Anyone calling it “Trump’s birthday parade” is being at least a little disingenuous by leaving out that it’s also the 250th anniversary of the army’s founding, and the anniversary of the adoption of the first US flag design (although we’re only at 248 on that one).
I'm no fan of wasteful spending, but they hated Elon going after billions, hoping to work up to trillions.
This is $45 million. It's retarded, but by government standards it's absolutely fucking nothing.

Who believes them? How dumb do you have to be not to just look up what the white house is saying it's for?
Dumb enough to support a Kenyan communist, a psychotic harpy with a trail of bodies behind her, a senile pedophile, and a retarded alcoholic whore for POTUS.
Illegal immigrants cost the taxpayer billions of dollars, right? Ask that critter about THAT expense.
Uh they’re needed for cheap labor you dolt.

But you don't understand, the rapists work super hard!
Suddenly, AIDS!
"Trump Birthday parade"
You mean the Army's birthday parade. Lying faggots.

When you casually dunk on the enemy so hard so repeatedly they have to create a law just to keep you from hogging all of the medals.
If/When Trump gets that "Garden of American Heroes", he absolutely has to be one of them in there.
That time a guy stole a tank and ran over a bunch of cars and houses and shit only cost a few 100k. We should just do that again.

Trump should get them to build himself a personal baneblade covered in gold with champagne sprinklers and ride on that Yarrick style.
These people are going to whine no matter what orange man does.

Fuck a Baneblade, he deserves Metal Wolf Chaos with a Hayaku Shiki paintjob at this point.
I'm not up to speed on this. Is the parade kind of like how stadium flyovers are mandatory flight hours just scheduled to go over a stadium?

I love watching ZOG!
