Even as someone who was more on Konstantin's side of the argument and didnt think that the idea of a "Woke Right" was completely outrageous to say, James Lindsay himself went off the deep end to some very strange places and kind of deserves his status imploding. Probably around the time he started saying that Archangels were somehow agents of Satan and attempting to corrupt Trump (I still dont entirely understand what he was trying to argue then).
James Lindsey's idea of "Woke Right", as he first chose to define it (because he moved the goal posts as Carl explained), actually does exist. White Race Communists engaging in obsessive internet faggotry, blaming all their problems on jews, claiming anyone who disagrees with them is a jew, that the US was never a Liberal country, and literally being nothing more than a Leftist strawman to the point that they are indistinguishable from glow-niggers and Antifa trolls, is absolutely a thing... that we can see here in this forum.
What that has to do with James Buchanan, or even Enoch Powell, is literally less than nothing.
Now, don't get me wrong, the groyper faggots will pretend that Pat Buchanan and Enoch Powell were huge fans of segregation, genocide, and Hitler because that's basically a Leftist interpretation of 'the far right', and these white niggers have no capacity to operate outside of a Leftist meta-narrative. But, their utter incompetence, and bad faith, doesn't make their retardation true. Especially because they are Leftists advocating for White Socialism, and aren't even on the right.
The problem with using the "woke right" term in the first place, is that Wokeness is tied to Intersectionalism. As such, there is no right-wing variant of Intersectionality, and thus the word can't be applied to the right. BUT the shitty behavior of the woke is replicated by the glow-nigger right (aka: the Leftist right).
But nothing. Just give it up and find another way to defend Israel.

This is why I have no problem with Ethno-Nationalism outside of the US, and outside of Socialism. Why should a nation not argue for it's own political structure? If the nation feels best served by a state without an ethno-nationalist government, then so be it, but if they chose to be represented by such a state, it is their choice. Ireland right now is trying to re-embrace Ethno-Nationalism, but since their Nationalism was carried by Progressives at the turn of the century, they've been betrayed by the very Socialists who came up with the idea in the first place. It is the Ethno-Nationalist Socialists of Wales, Scotland, and Ireland who are directly demographically replacing their own nations, on purpose. If the German National Socialists had survived World War 2 they would have the same policies as the German Green Party (partly because the Green Party was founded by several members of the NSDAP).
What you have in Ireland now are non-Leftist, non-Progressive, Nationalists trying to re-capture a Nationalist sentiment that was hijacked a hundred years ago.
Why not in the US? Hart Celler wasn't that long ago. Why don't we have the right to repeal it and go back to ethno-nationalism?

Racial collectivism is the foundation of the american nation and it was legally codified in 1791. Do you consider that socialism? Do you consider every single nation on the planet socialism? The only good countries are ones that have atomized people that can't literally genetically relate to each other?
The race you are claiming the Americans rallied around didn't exist. Rus weren't White. Europe never had racial solidarity among all it's ethnic groups and never tried to. Racial solidarity had been a unifying factor for maybe a dozen states in history (yes, all of them were Socialist, keyword: solidarity).
The United States never legally codified racial collectivism, which is why intra-racial discrimination had long since been allowed during the time you claim it was codified. Your pretending that an immigration policy designed to keep the country from being flooded by non-Anglo-Saxons, rather than German, French, Spanish, or Catholic generally was "White Nationalism".

Which I think was the idea behind invoking "Woke" to describe them since their ideas are not that dissimilar and the general public (who IMO terms such as "Woke Right" are for, not for people in the political weeds like we are) would understanding it more, and who may not be as ok with calling Groypers "White Niggers" like they deserve.
But it doesnt change that Lindsey did indeed move the goalpost because people like Carl were calling out some flaws in the terminology and that it did probably kill Lindsey's influence and career for entirely needless reasons. I am unsure what possessed him to go to such strange places or why he thought people would follow him down that road, but unlike others I am actually kind of saddened by it since he used to be smarter and more influential than that.

What happened to Lindsey is what happens to everyone in the default Left managerial middle class. Being "left-wing" is an emotional connection. Unlike Carl and I, the emotional pull of being left-wing isn't strong enough to refute reality. Carl has chosen to reject Liberalism, where I choose to accept Liberalisms flaws and restrain it to government. Lindsey isn't willing to do either of those, so he's over-intellectualizing, trying to maintain some kind of social media influence (because he is basically blacklisted from all of Academia and research), and so he's flailing.
This is a real problem for the right because basically the right-wing intelligentsia is all podcasters, and there is no presence of the right-wing in research and academia, meaning there's not any real way to get institutional positions for our own intelligentsia. That's very bad, and was why I supported Trump's "American University" plan.
