Is the perpetrator known, or is it an educated guess?
I read an entire page of BBC "live updates" and I learned exactly nothing, other than the fact that they arrested an innocent man for what they say a car did.
A couple of alleged photos of the driver being arrested by Reddit sleuths, but take that shit even less seriously than their "Boston bomber" because it looks just as much like someone being questioned for a witness statement:
I'm making an educated guess. I might be incorrect - apparently there's another event tomorrow that hasn't been cancelled, which could be politically untenable if they can't guarantee this is an isolated incident.
There's a LOT of Muslims in the Philippines, and they are mostly very radical! There's islands where they're the majority (there's like 2000 inhabited islands making up the 'Pines?) which are poor as dirt and crawling with terrorists.
I have no doubt he's a Philippino, it's 50-50 he's a Muslim too in my books.
Again the axiom: if the criminal is a White Male Christian? It's front page news. Other genders, religions or colours = unidentified for days.
When I saw this, I thought it might be related to Indian/Pakistan tension similar to what's happening in the UK. So I looked it up:
It's a Philippine related festival.
So I got NO fucking clue if it was an intentional attack or not. Maybe they've depressed the Canadians so much that it's ONLY the foreigners on the streets to be the victims of these kinds of attacks?
If it's a terrorist attack, basically any kind of mass gathering that's not Muslims praying on the streets is going to be a target. I don't think they care as much that it's a "Christmas market" (the European ones). It's infidels gathering. That makes the cars really mad, so they go out and drive straight into a crowd.
I have no doubt it was intentional, he went a long way down that narrow street filled with people.
Was it "inspired" by religion? Or other motivations? We may never know, eh? 🙄
Well, the tweet is deleted, but unfortunately, the news wasn't fake.
As of the moment, there's no information at all about this event on 'mainstream' sources. Only pronouncements by leaders who say they are very sad about this attack that their policies very possibly caused. Well then.
/r/Canada/ is threatening to ban anyone who identifies the perpetrator again, so place my bet for "Islamic terrorism."

Motherfucking archive crashed my browser twice but here we go again.
Nypost alleges an age, 30, but nothing more:

I've not seen anything overtly Muslim looking yet, not that the pinoy guy in a hoodie can't be Muslim though.

If not Islamic, then certainly foreign. No way a White person did this and they don't plaster his face wall to wall all across the nation.

Terrorist attack, or just Asian driver?
Deliberate attack for sure. His skin colour & religion will determine if it's "terrorist" or not.

Philippines have problems with their Muslims as well
Welp, time to start teaching from Black Jack Pershing's book The Secret To Dealing With Muslims. Hope everyone has lots of rope and lard.
Always unexpected.

It was probably one of those Incel Drivers like Andrew Tate.
SOMEONE LOOK FOR A MISSING BUGGATI
Hiding the identity of terrorists is support for terrorism.
That's why it's hidden ofc.

Yeah, that's pretty bad, maybe mark the post NSFW.
