I'm shocked at how good Vavra is speedrunning
Social media addicted, bi curious, detail focused (during KCD1) game dev who gloms on quickly to new social validation circles online... and now he's practicing the WR any% run for Warhorse's rep into the bin.
All signs point to bye bye based beardman and hello Daniela Vavra for 2026.
She will probably keep the beard
Yet another reason to wait a few months after release before buying anything, even from people you previously trusted.
There is no good will anymore.
Blackrock money sure changes a man
He got a nice car to drive around those EU roads and some pop guns to play with. He thinks he's a big boy now.
Okay.
Well… bye.
"Bye, Felicia."
Not even worth torrenting, kike. Hope the tranny dick was worth it.
It'll be interesting seeing how this goes for Vavra. This is one of those situations where the game mechanics are probably solid and the typical linked traits of wokeness haven't surfaced yet, so the impact on sales will be purely cultural, which usually isn't the case.
The last time this happened with BG3, the game was very successful and a sequel will (sadly) also be successful. But BG3's developers didn't antagonize their critics 24/7 either.
Another analogous situation is The Last of Us 2, where the game had the potential to sell 14M+ units but only sold 8-9M. In that case Druckmann burned the bridges to future sequels. But TLOU2's story was offensively, insultingly bad, whereas KCD2 is a branching RPG where the degeneracy is significantly less visible.
The woke stuff is burried down enough that the average player will not even know Hans is now gay and by the time he finds out the gameplay will make up for it. The woke elements are so few compared to a modern game that if any other studio was to make this game it would have been considered based.
I hate to say it but I assume it will be a big success for them. Another thing the woke take.
I won't, so no problem there.
Other than the optional faggotry and nigs , Is the game worth the bandwidth to Jack Sparrow?
It's a non-fantasy medieval RPG that tried to be immersive for the time period. It mostly is.
For me, I liked the bromance between Henry and Hans but now that they're gay I don't even care about pirating. Sure it's optional but the subtext is there you just chose not to act upon it. It makes their entire series of interactions dirty.
If you remove that, considering there is no magic or fantastic animal/ monsters etc, I don't know why people like it.
"Optional" is a weasel word to incorporate degenerate shit into games in a deceitful way.
It's a huge investment to plan, engineer, script, voice-act, model, animate, implement, QA, even a single scripted narrative sequence in a game like this. It's a lot of work, it costs real money to pay all the people involved across multiple different disciplines. Therefore we must conclude that someone cared a lot about including faggotry in the game.
Just imagine someone made a "R4p3" mod for Sims, giving Sims the option to jump on other Sims and act that out. We would assume that person is a disgusting weirdo, even if it was entirely "optional." And we'd be right to assume that, because it's clearly true.
Even the "choice" is pure but-thou-must railroad. It's not even "are you gay" but "do you want them to know you're gay"
This is not even mentioning the purely anachronistic diversity and #girlboss shit. Gaming in the 20s is for simps.
Wasn't planning on it. So... OK.
That was easy.
