For those that are unaware of what he did. He directly contacted the Chinese military indicating his willingness to work with them against any hypothetical orders he might be given. The word Treason is not hyperbolic.
I also place the blame on him (among others) for the Afghanistan disaster. They lied to Trump about troop strength and slow-walked his orders. You could argue that led to the deaths of thousands.
They really need to get rid of the whole upper brass at the Pentagon before starting any court martials.

Calling for judicially proscribed death penalty is not a violation of Rule 2. It can become a violation if it's a situation where the execution is extra-judicial, or if the execution is outside of the norm for legal standard (like demanding someone be executed for theft).

I would say yes it’s still a call for his death the means don’t matter. The rule is gay and can be circumvented easily however . Personally I hope the general gets to try out top of the line Canadian health care.
Quite debatable. Aside from the fact that it's a judicially prescribed penalty, it's an extra layer of indirection with "I would love to see", rather than "he should be".
