If you watch the trailer, the voice actor is almost certainly not a woman. Which means that this is either really shitty animation or they deliberately made the character either outright trans or just ambiguously gendered.
I find the replacements stupid. Afro Samurai was an original concept that killed it. The voice of Spawn killed it. I could go on, but I'm probably showing my age.

I didn't like the east/west fusion, particularly because the "west" part of the fusion was ghetto gangsta-wannabe shit.

Spiderman has had more animation adaptations than probably everyone comic book character combined, excluding Batman. There are often plural of them going on at once on multiple networks.
Yet nobody can remember any of them except the 60s and the 90s one, and this will be no different. Just a footnote page along with the one a few years ago that died because "SCIENCE BRO" writing on how to tank a series instantly.
So does this mean Spiderman can't beat down the green goblin in this world?
