My assessment of this footage is that the effect is well beyond what a battery failure would do and well below what real explosives would do. Probably an amateur Wile-E-Coyote pile of fireworks and other explode-y looking things that the perp thought would add up to a real bomb.

Liberals then, not muslims like NO. Muslims actually know how to build a truck bomb.

definitely fireworks, you can see green and red secondary explosions. Additionally, a battery fire would not be an abrupt pop like we see in the video, it would have a steady build up.

Apart from the fireworks, it mostly looks like it's some sort of fuel that would mostly just ignite, not something that would explode. It looks more fireball than actual explosion, ya know?

Shows a lack of understanding of the fundamentals of how explosives work. They had all the right ingredients, but nothing to create pressure

I can't see because of the smoke but it seems because of that, the damage apart from the hood and roof blown off, is very localised to the car, like hardly reaching the entrance.

"Cybertruck body panels are so strong that it contained the retarded suicide bomber's blast and protected all the bystanders."

It would amuse me greatly if some radical leftist turned himself into a Tesla marketing point.

VW had the same idea years ago. How fast things can change.

The almighty TSA anticipated the terrorist plans.

Any kind of actual explosives would have turned that truck inside out. The windows are in tact because there was no pressure wave because there were no high explosives involved. I cannot believe the state of news media.

The trunk cover on a cybertruck only holds 300 lbs. The side panels could have been anything and it still would have mostly blown upwards.

You can also see from the slow motion footage that the fireball blows into the cabin, out the open drivers window, and down around the wheel wells. Plus fireworks continue to explode outside the vehicle.

This was a pretty weak explosion.
