I was watching a Sargon live and a chat caught my attention, saying something along the lines of “you bitch and moan about problems but never offer any solutions”. He became flustered and answered “well, um, because a solution hasn’t presented itself yet” - Translation: “I am well aware that I don’t”. Interesting too how he only began posting on his channel again after monetisation came back - funny that.
This issue seems to apply to most, if not all political commentators. You have to ask yourself the question: “What has actually improved because of these people and their actions?” - The resultant answer is simple “Absolutely Nothing”.
You watch because their opinions resonate with your own, and it's reassuring to feel that you are not alone in your views.
But what is the outcome from this? The content makes you feel black pilled, reporting on negative events, ridiculous policies and bad news, much of which either doesn’t effect you in the real world, or you can do nothing to change anyway.
They feed on your need for answers to all the negativity they present to you, acting as the knowledgeable, connected, relatable hero on the white horse offering the promise of hope and solutions and the similar opinions to you, but nothing of value is ever provided.
Of course, they make a very lucrative income from literally reading you the news and making points which are most likely what you already think. Their own lives are certainly improving as a result of the increasing income and recognition, but Has YOUR life improved because of them?
I always used to argue “but I’m more informed”, but, so what? Feeling informed, black pilled, hopeless, powerless and as a result, fucking miserable and addicted - watching every new video in the hopes that there would be an answer or a solution or some way forward. But it never came, and it never will. How long have these channels been going? What in your life has improved BECAUSE of them?
Solutions are not offered because:
- They don’t have any - (shhh you’re not supposed to know that).
- Sitting on your ass pontificating and moaning is much easier than doing anything - (easy money for doing very little).
- They want you addicted. Keep coming back + Watch more content = More money.
A solution would mean tackling the things that you do have control over, instead of being in a black pilled cycle over things you cannot control. Break an addiction, make good habits, go outside, see loved ones, get a hobby, live your life. Commentators depend on you feeling hopeless because it means you will routinely turn to them and watch them postulate on their soap boxes in the hopes to get solutions that will never come. If you sort your own shit out, you will realise that you do not NEED them for answers, (answers they were never going to give you) - and the grift grinds to a halt.
There is no point wasting hours, months, years, watching them in the hopes that they are coming to save you, they aren’t. They don’t know you. They don’t care about you. It’s for position, fame & money.
I realised I was being used. So I did myself a favour and walked away.
Bear in mind that often times they do know the solution but can't say it else they will be banned. We have similar issues here
Rule 2! Rule 16!
Even more-so for anyone in places like the UK, Canada, Australia, etc. There's almost nothing important that a commentator can get away with pointing out because of the bullshit censorship laws that have been plastered to and fro.
(((indeed)))
"Politics is downstream from culture," and all that.
You can call them grifters - and many are, perhaps even all depending on definition - but to act like they're changing nothing is silly.
Political commentators are having an impact, because the things they talk about are things that need more normalization in the culture. It's shifting the Overton window, as well as pushing cultural events like our own GamerGate, Trump winning (three times), and the like. It's all connected.
Which is not to say everyone has to watch political commentators, and I certainly get tired of them myself. But they serve a very important role of initially helping people wake up some. They provide an important counterpoint to legacy media.
I honestly think we wouldn't have as much hope for our culture as we do, if not for many of these commentators. And, again, that's not even saying I personally like them. But they've been undeniably useful. So many people like to shit on them for 'not doing things,' but fact is them talking to a large audience is infinitely more than almost all of the whiners will ever do.
You say they're blackpilling people. I'd say the 'you're not doing anything' crowd is embracing the blackpill much more.
You don't have to like them, but they're not useless. Talking about the problems is a step toward solutions. People who already know the problems aren't the target audience.
That is a fair point. They are shifting the window a bit. That said, there is a lot of circle jerking in dissidents circles. I do see the author of this post's point. I wouldn't say he should walk away altogether from those videos... I just wouldn't watch them very much. Hours of that shit will kill the soul.
The value of the commentary is in the material. Useless whinging and emotional exploitation, which is a majority of online commentary, does nothing.
It's important to back away when it's just a crab in the bucket vs actually going somewhere. Its like mgtow guys complaining about women instead of mgtow guys actually going their own way and doing something else.
I find most of these commentators and their communities just sit there and wallow and keep picking the scab instead of progressing to the next solution. It gets so depressing and bland.
Many commentators do have good solutions and evolve as persons and are worth tuning in to. But not the single issue complainers that never grow.
Because the ones doing it proper usually end up going off the grid or you don't see them posting online often, if ever.
We're reading from those who are complaining about life in probably the only area it can be done anonymously, cyberspace, what people are actually doing in meatspace may be different.
No, they could keep participating in the conversation and growing in new ways, many of them do, they don't need to go off grid. Mostly tho these commentators just keep whining about women for clicks from disaffected men. Just my observations.
And because politics is downstream from culture I actually prefer my chud streamers and based video makers that have their opinions and speak them. There's not a lot but I honestly prefer people who also talk about entertainment since it is indeed a bit of a canary in the coal mine for political topics like the gender craze for example.
If it isn’t making a difference, why are your enemies working so hard to censor it?
Use your fucking brain.
"To see what is in front of one's nose needs a constant struggle."

I'm really annoyed at the idea that criticism is somehow invalid or useless, if it doesn't offer solutions. This is just not true, though if it were, it would make my job as a software engineer waay easier. IMO its just a manipulative trick to dismiss nontrivial, hard-to-address criticism.
I'm allowed to go see my mechanic saying my car is making weird noises, without providing him a solution. I'm allowed to say some piece of software is shit without providing guidance beyond "stop hiring cheap moron devs from India".
Similarly, anyone, including political commentators, is allowed to say that there is a problem without drawing up a full action plan to deal with it. It is supposed to be the Politicians' job.. We give them a problem, they offer us a solution, if we like it we vote for them. Thats how its supposed to work.
If everyone around you tells you $problem is getting serious, its not meant to blackpill you, its meant to make you support politicians who offer solutions.
I thought we shut up a lot of blackpillers with Trump winning as these were the SAME people saying 'don't vote, it doesn't matter they win anyway!'
Sargon to his credit DID try as he ran as an MEP along with Count Dankula but lost to Ferage's Brexit Party. Unlike the US, he's in a worse position to have influence since you have literal thought police over there, a worse economy, a more entrenched establishment and a unenthusiastic voter base as their current Labour government only 'won' because the other side refused to vote, they actually had less votes than previously. The UK can only change for the better now by outside influence like if Trump pimp slaps them with tarrifs in the future.
There are few other countries like that where commentators can inform people but cannot gain the necessary base locally to gain power and make a difference, Canada and Australia being other examples. Compare that to the US where Brandon Herrera only lost a congressional run by 600 votes and now people are trying to meme him to be head of the ATF or how being on Rogan's podcast DID have an impact, there's a lot to be said about commentators now replacing MSM as a more trusted source. Different countries just have more entrenched roadblocks to power.
Rogan is actually the perfect example for this. Everyone saw that interview, it was super wide spread and maybe kamala would've faired a tiny bit better if she showed her human side, even on some podcast.
And you're pretty much right, in the US it seems to be a bit different but all over the world you, the individual cannot do much without having to fight the whole system. Look at Germany where the establishment is doing everything in their power to make the afd lose voters, they use all the tricks in the book and just make themselves look dumb, yet it seems to be working somewhat to keep the afd "small" (although winning 2 elections first and second place isn't necessarily small). I really hope the trump effect with also affect us to bring some much needed change.
I don't understand how you think Trump winning the election is winning for any real traditional values. It's just 2016 democrat platform with a bunch of bankers and zionists, rinos and media insiders.
That's the argument against the blackpill?
It seems like a win for the rich Jews that control Trump. Until he does something for the good of white Americans I will still plan accordingly with the white genocide agenda.
Get married, have kids, and homeschool your children to love God, love the church, and love their country. Encourage everyone you can to take the courage necessary to have the wife stay at home and homeschool, because it'll require the family to carefully budget and be frugal with the man's income.
This is a long term solution that requires sacrifice, commitment, and love.
Likely most people will come up with excuses as to why they won't do this, and then they will do nothing. And that will be your answer as to why pundits don't offer solutions
I would caveat this with organize and link up with others. Group homeschool. Church. Group sports for kids.
Your point is a good one.
Well, between spending time posting on a personal account that's monetized, or putting more time and effort into your paid platform, which is the rational one? I don't understand how that's supposed to be a criticism that rather than putting effort into a network he gets paid for, he puts work into his individual content once it's monetized. Providing services people are willing to pay for isn't wrong in any way.
Oh fuck off. We're allowed to criticize those in power. To put the onus on political commentators instead of elected officials is ridiculous.
It's infotainment, so if you feel you're not being informed and/or entertained you should stop watching it.
I avoid them all because ultimately they are entertainers and sometimes grifters. I prefer more professionalism and "dull". I avoided them all on election day becuase all of them are annoying or have annoying people around them... acting all edgy.
They wouldn't be trying to ban them from speaking if them speaking "did nothing." They wouldn't be losing their minds at Elon getting Donald Trump elected if them speaking "did nothing." They wouldn't have removed Dislikes from YouTube if they didn't want us to know that the MSM was getting downvoted into oblivion. They wouldn't have shut down comment sections on MSM news websites if regular people calling out the BS in the articles was "doing nothing." They wouldn't be trying to relabel every vaguely right-wing opinion and position as 'hate speech' if them speaking "did nothing." They wouldn't be imprisoning the English for mean tweets and anti-Muslim sentiment if them talking "did nothing." They wouldn't be botting the fuck out of websites like Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and God knows where else to try to manipulate conversation away from where random assholes with their webcams are trying to direct it if them speaking "did nothing."
I do not care how much money they make, that's the world we live in. This sounds like a dumb Leftist complaint.
Shut the FUCK UP HOLLYWOOD.
This whole post is stupid, short-sighted, and very much black-pilled. Get lost, retard. The American Revolution was fomented in bars and pubs, not at rallies and stadiums. I do not want to hear this IMPROOOVE YOURSELF lecture from someone who is telling me to stop talking to large audiences of like-minded citizens and agitating dissent against an increasingly corrupt government and brainwashed normies. You sound like that faggot poster we get every few months who hates video games and comes here to lecture us like a retarded Boomer on our wasted time and useless hobby.
Foreigner.
I agree with the general thrust of your post to a degree, but Sargon in particular has done an incredible amount compared to someone who does literally nothing except boot up a PC. I was redpilled by Sargon like 10 years ago now and I credit him and JBP for where I am now. I have massive criticisms of both men (JBP in particular, to the point of disavowal) but without them my life would be dramatically different today, for the worse. Sargon was babbys first redpill who became something of a media mogul. Additionally, while his foray into politics was untimely and ultimately cringe, I could see him being a legitimate candidate in the future.
I think that's why one of the few youtubers of this sort I'm okay with is Razorfist.
He's not knee deep into it as a primary source of income, as near as I can tell anyway, so he's not dumpster diving for stories or spitting out a regular stream of needless or rehashed commentary.
But I guess he'd probably agree that he's not really a commentator per say anyway. So the point ends up being a little moot.
Identifying problems and offering solutions are two separate tasks. If I spot a leak in the water pipe leading to your house, and I tell you about it, I'd be quite surprised to have someone sperg at me: "WELL, DO YOU HAVE SOLUTIONS? HMMMMMM?"
No, because I'm not a plumber.
Trump wouldn't have been able to beat the steal without political commentators breaking through the "mainstream" media narratives.
Its freeing to stop emotionally investing in many of these channels and communities. It's people stuck in rage mode about something and they don't want to let it go.
Was that really how you took that?
You didn't consider that a solution to a specific issue, literally wasn't clear yet? That's pretty silly. Why would you think he just has all the answers to every question as it arrives?
Furthermore, why would you think he can solve your personal problems?
Grifters sell you answers. A grifter doesn't tell you I don't know.
He runs a media company. This one channel, his personal one. Again, why would he have your answer?
It's your responsibility to take in information and do something with it. I don't know what your problem is, neither does he. Thus, what exactly are any of us supposed to do to solve your problems.
Blackpilling is not a monetization strategy. Frankly, it's a right-wing mental illness that I simply don't understand. I've been around the Left long enough to know that they basically don't have a word for it, because they are delusionally optimistic regardless of evidence. On the right, convincing you all to do productive or useful shit is like pulling teeth. I mean, jesus, at least some of you voted. That's hard enough as it is when you're convincing yourselves that "they'll steal the election by printing infinity votes"
Even now, with Trump's cabinet picks, most of you are demanding to believe you've already lost. Sometimes I wonder if it's a Left-wing or fed psy-op; but christ almighty you are physically repelled by the concept of winning or making incremental progress.
The Left doesn't have this problem. They will literally spin their wheels for years, failing to make any progress on something, and claim that they made progress simply because they did it, and will invent an elaborate explanation on how it was all worth it.
I don't know what I would call this disease, but you don't sell demoralization to the right; they manufacture it.
Ah yes, I see you literally don't regularly watch anything from his company because he literally goes on there and tells people to do exactly that.
Maybe you just got him at a bad time, Sargon has been one of the more effective "remoralisers" among political commentators. He's a stalwart amongst being proud of what you are, not running, fighting to preserve what's great about English culture as well as encouraging people to have Children. He has 4 and frequently talks about how fulfilling his family life is.
He actually has a really good answer to your question.
Agreed. The same is true for red pill channels, aside from the ones that go full on dissident.
In general I think what remains of the red pill groups, including the former Manosphere, are grifters and circle jerkers. But worst still, I think normies have been either invited in or infiltrated to a degree these groups have become worthless.
I agree 100%. I used to watch a few of those guys quite often, and sometimes still check in, but after years, they still sit there and complain about the dumbest women ever. 95% of their videos are just shitting on nasty whores and simps, which is true, but doesn't move the focus towards a solution. I'm tired of hearing about how bad nasty skanky feminists are.
They realize that they built a channel on incels that want company. And that's what gives them views. Misery loving company. And when these creators try and branch out, their viewer base attacks them and starts complaining and dooming. Crabs in a bucket.
I think pointing out the problem with simp culture and feminism is fine, but I don't want to live my life whining about them, I want to live a good life and take care of my family. I can't get there if I just sit and consume redpill rage all day.
