If you're playing a new Atlus RPG on release anyway, that's on you. They'll just release an expanded edition later that you have to buy the full game again since they can't make it DLC for the original release.
Also, "Diversity" messages in western nations need to be treated worse than "feminism" messages in Korea. You're not fooling anyone, and only harming your own standing with the public you expect to buy from you.
Seeing the usual suspects with localization this time, bragging about ruining things others like for their purposes, despite having a cool style and me usually liking Atlus games I have to full on avoid this one.
Had to full on avoid SMTV:V as well since it had the same localizer, but I at least played the original V before that one came around, and it may have had some localization fuckery I'm unaware of too.
I've actually heard the writer (not localization scripter, the ACTUAL writer) is also weirdly pozzed, has something against cars? Both SMTVen and P3R treat them like harbingers of death, and both have this writer in common.
EDIT: About that writer, I should have clarified, I think he's NOT involved with MRF, but I wanted to mention that there is always a possibility of Japanese "progressives" doing cringe moralistic shit.
I think it is likely SMT/Persona, probably Atlus as a whole got pozzed awhile back just because of the way some of their games have been. It has been more subtle with things I have played, and there has been the normal localization drama, but it is clear they are moving towards that "modern" "progressive" kind of messaging.
They were a lost cause years ago. Basically they were full of westaboos that always wanted to have a hipster eccentric image different from other Japanese companies. They let localizers oversee productions and advertised online how cool their office was, actively encouraging more foreigners to come work for them. You can guess what happened next.
Atlus went out of their way to give Sojiro a Porsche 356 and make Morgana a 1969 Citroen van in Persona 5. Maybe this is a way of showing how one of their writers likes cars.

Probably more than one expanded edition.

The entire game is muh 'waycizm bad', from top to bottom. You've got equal odds hoping for Ghost of Yotei not to be pozzed (ie. hopeless).
I was wondering why it was getting 10s
$100 says we wonβt see any more ass crack shots when she rests at a hot spring π
Lmao this looked like faggot shit from the first moment I laid eyes on it.
this is the very localised game. the inaccurate localizations have been going around on X
Can you show me some of them?

Ugh...
Hulkenberg? Wtf kind of name is Hulkenberg?
Japanese attempt to make a Jewish character?
The name of a German F1 driver.

this is the same company that made a game that lets you hire and fuck your teacher in a maid costume.
They lost me after SMTV. Should've waited like u/Norenia said.
Friendly reminder that Atlus is a subsidiary of Sega.
I mean, a social media manager is going to try to force activism wherever they can. If this is the best they could do, I'd consider that a good sign
