I believe there are now more women in graduate school than men too, so double discrimination. Women overwhelmingly outnumber men at the bachelor level already, with the only post-secondary in Canada to have more men than women being... the Royal Military College in Kingston.
Some places do hire women because they're cheaper. Teaching is this way. I mean if you want to see it outside of government, there are private schools.
Young boys suffer under systemic apartheid throughout all their education.

Women succeeding means they did it on their own. Men succeeding means the patriarchy helped them. Every fucking time.
When it happens to women and blacks they call it discrimination, when it happens to White men they say we’re just not as good.
