I'm sitting at a hair salon with the radio playing and there have been 3 Harris ads so far, nothing from Trump.
I haven't seen any banner ads or streaming ads for him either.
I know this is all anecdotal, but seriously: Where are Trump's campaign ads? They seem absent from the normie space.
EDIT: this is in a battleground state where he definitely needs his ads playing.
I don't know how advertising works, but could a "channel" refuse a potential advertiser? I can imagine some outlets would refuse to air ads for Trump.
Also, is your state a "battleground" state (Don't answer that if you don't want to)? It may be that they're mostly spending in specific areas in the US.
You're correct on all counts
No they can’t.
this is a battleground state, when he should absolutely be campaigning.
Battleground state reporting in. For the past month, I have received pro-Trump political spam in the mail every single day that mail is delivered. No, I am not exaggerating about the volume. There are new pro-Trump billboards that went up around the county recently. I use uBlock origin and don't watch TV so I can't otherwise comment on digital advertising, but the Trump campaign has definitely been reaching out here on physical platforms.
For comparison, I have not received a single piece of pro-Harris mail. I did receive 2-3 generic "Vote Democrat" pieces of mail, but that was for everyone on the ballot, not Harris-specific. I also received multiple pro-RFK Jr. pieces of mail before he dropped out.
I am not registered with any party.
I have no idea what is going on with OP's situation, but it does not reflect my personal experience. I suspect the advertising dollars are very tightly targeted by ZIP or county.
With so much of the media against him, unless it's Twitter I guessing many aren't playing his ads unless they're in dead time slots
That's not actually how that works. The ad buyer decides on the slots they want, and if they want to pay that much for it.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the rules to allow it.
EVERY rule that once existed in an election has more or less been broken by now so why not this one?
The only way they could do that without committing fraud would be to charge a flat rate for advertising. And it would have to be near the off hours rate if they want to fill the full schedule.
I'm not saying it would be impossible, but it would be quite the "cutting off your nose to spite your face" move for a bunch of companies who are already flirting with bankruptcy.
I suspect that's a major part of the problem. Kumswala's war chest is effectively infinite with money coming in from all kinds of shady sources, so she just flood the airways. Trump has real constraints that he has to contend with.

Trump has shit tons of money. It's just not being used well.
Will those ads reach anyone he can persuade to vote for him?
Ads aren’t to convince voters. They’re to activate your voter base.
Politics is a turnout game. Not a “who has the best argument” game unlike what the media would have you believe
100% yes. there are a lot of people who are tuned out, and if all they hear are the occasional lie over the radio from kamala, they won't have any reason to vote for Trump. they might even be scared into voting against him.
he needs to be playing counter ads so that the normies at least realize that not everything they hear on the radio is correct.
I know of a local Harris supporter who has a 20 foot "STOP PROJECT 2025" sign on her lawn.
There is literally no mechanism to reach some of these people, and yes, they are just there to be activated.
there will always be the hardliners, but I'm just talking about the normal people going about their business. the people who don't pay attention, or don't like to talk about it.
Twitter has more reach than television.
Twitter mostly reaches the terminally online. Granted, that is a lot of people, but I still maintain most people don't live on the internet. it's important for him to make his voice heard outside of social media.
EDIT: most people don't live on the internet, and most people don't live watching television. the radio is an immutable voice that plays while they're doing their daily routines such as grocery shopping.
Trump ads are on television.
A billion views on his Space with Elon Musk.
"Terminally online"
dead internet theory is real. I would be amazed if even half of those views are real.
Wow. Some people really do want the world to die just so they can go "See?! I was right!"
who says I want the world to die? I'm just calling it as it is.
internet points are barely real, you have to connect with actual people in the real world.
The Republican Party is desperately trying to lose the house and senate. I'm not gonna say which state I'm in, but you won't find Trump ads, or even Republican ads, almost anywhere.
The Republican Party is trying to lose the election. I've been saying this for years. They do not want him to win, and they are working to make sure he loses. The funding is not going where it's supposed to, Nikki Haley destroyed their register records by mixing in Democrats, and the RNC has been trying to lose the campaign as hard as possible, even with a Trump family member on top.
what would be the motivation?
To protect their dependency system and careers. Trump & Vance suggest a major re-alignment of power. Which means the controlled opposition of the corporate right would be thrown into the wind. Their entire careers would be over because the re-alignment would have to be around an entirely different order than what they are used to.
This is why old civilizations used to move capitals, it would effectively negate an entire aristocracy out of an empire's control mechanism.
If Kamala is advertising somewhere, and Trump is not, that probably means Kamala is weak there. Honestly.
No ads. No twitter. No Fucking campaign.
The only shit I keep getting are insufferable text messages
“PLEASE…….. patriot”
That’s literally how they go.
Chis lasavita and Susie wiles arefuckijg retard campaign managers and if Trump loses it will be his fault for hiring those LOSERS
What state are you in?
Do you live in a blue, red, or battleground state?
I've seen a bunch on Xwitter. Not really anything locally, I don't think they are spending in Texas. They claim to be spending to get rid of Ted Cruz, but even then I think that's just being pocketed by someone as I never see those either.
Who is spending to get rid of Ted Cruz?
His campaign is being run like shit is the answer.
