Actually an excellent question. They already 'just said no' in 2020 and stole a whole government in arguably the most brazen coup in history. The only things that made it interpretable as anything else were the tiniest shreds of implausible deniability, plus some prototype examples of reality-denial of a kind we came to see a lot more of through the plandemic years. Reality hasn't yet caught up to the fact that America was stolen. The average normalcuck never will catch up, because the gravity of what happened and the fact that it happened with no resistance is too scary and painful to admit (again not dissimilar to the psychological trauma of the plandemic).

So there's a lot of hope and cope building towards this election if people really think the current admin, when asked 'a-are you going to follow the rules and hand the country back now?', are going to answer 'sure ok' like a joyrider parking a stolen car back at its owner's address. The only thing that could really make them do that is fear. But I think quite a lot of them now genuinely fear a second Trump term just as much as they pretended to fear it in 2020, because they've spent 4 years doing everything they can to justify that fear of reprisal, including pulling all the most tyrannical tricks of the average banana republic.

I mean Trump's head came within millimeters of exploding like a watermelon live on CNN not that long ago, and they wanted that to happen. They tried to engineer it. With people willing to go that far, what do people think is actually going to make them concede defeat? Politeness? Fatigue? It's just not going to happen without fear and they don't seem to be feeling enough of it in the right direction.

Don't fixate on any particular person or incident. It's irrelevant in a conflict like this.

The boiling will keep up until the lid pops off.

One Democratic Congressman, Jamie Raskin, already publicly confirmed that's the plan.

And so [the court] want to kick it to Congress, so it’s going to be up to us on Jan. 6, 2025 to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified,” Raskin said in a panel discussion on Feb. 17, as the Supreme Court was mulling the constitutionality of the leftist Colorado secretary of state’s use of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to remove Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot.

And then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions all because nine justices — not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not much work to do, have a huge staff, great protection — simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th Amendment means,” Raskin declared at a Washington, D.C. bookstore gathering of self-important leftists.

Trump is an elite. His wife (Ivana) went around with jizzlane picking up kids for epstein[1]. All of his adult children have married {{{elites}}}.

The whole idea that trump is an outsider or anything approaching a real threat to “TPTB” is what’s known as kayfabe

[1] according to the first epstein victim to come forward, Maria Farmer:

You're retarded. If Trump were part of the club, he wouldn't be facing a million felony charges and they wouldn't have tried to kill him.

Will this be different from the 2016 denial or the 2020 denial? There will always be people who think Trump is Hitler no matter what happens. However, it does look like the left has no more momentum or power to lean on. If they say No, they won't be in a position to enforce it for very long.

You don't need to convince everyone, just enough people who matter.

in 2020 a lot of the rank and file military we're pro Trump and pro American freedom.

now, I'm not so sure. the poor recruitment numbers tells me the good old boys don't want to sign up to fight for the current administration, which means the majority of recruits are probably people who support the current regime.

they could just say no with military force, and the soldiers would be on board.

That's a good thing for us. It means the ranks of the enemy are full of weaklings and can't hack its. The kind of people who fly a plane off the side of an aircraft carrier or fall asleep at the literal helm of a ship and crash into a tanker. Those have both actually happened recently I might add.

That's a military that will be easily defeated by an armed civilian rebellion. That's a military that can't defend the weapons and equipment stockpiles scattered around every state in the country. That's a military that will desert rather than fight once things start getting tough.

It's...a weird situation.

I'm not "blackpilled" or anything, but I can definitely see the possibility of some serious fuckery. And, much more disappointingly, I can absolutely see the possibility where there's some absolute fuckery...and no one bothers to do anything about it. That's the lame part.

I don't think it's the likeliest outcome, but they could try to suspend US elections, for the first time ever, and the mass majority would just nod. And the people who have been crying about insurrections would actually cheer.

They could also jail Trump before the election. They could also say he's ineligible, after he wins. Which, ironically, is exactly what they accused him of trying to do. But it would be fine when they do it.

The pathetic part is how so many people would go along with it. It's not the sole cause, but we're all so fucking comfortable in this modern world. It could take years or decades after an obvious coup to reach any sort of point where people say enough. Heck, we've already had plenty of US coups, going back decades. We just do it bloodlessly nowadays.

One positive is, just like with our republic, it's not just majority rules. Even if most people go along with it, enough people in concentrated areas might object that we'd see a sea change, and a shifting of the Overton window. Texas, for example. While they're not as based as people say, they've still got the potential to push back, and plenty of other states are similar. So you might see a situation where, even if the people aren't objecting in any organized way, individual states push back and refuse to go along with it. Which, again, leads to some more interesting situations.

Anyway, it's something to keep in mind - Dems definitely aren't above trying it - but I don't think it's the likeliest...although it's more likely than it's ever been in US history so, if it were going to happen, now would be ripe for it.

But, if they can't cheat, and Trump wins, I think the likeliest outcome is they'll fight it, but have to let him in. If Trump can score that "official" win, they're whine and cry, but he'll end up in office.
