I have found a fair amount of luck comparing them to the crazy fire and brimstone preachers on the street claiming the end of the world. It seems to strike a chord as it's also something they've been taught to hate.
Nah, that's a timed event now on cooldown the director shifted to a new one. It'll be back when it's ready to launch again. Only one event can be active at a time, simulation and all that...
I remember hearing they don’t allow coal or fossil fuel powered heating. Do they get nuclear powered heating? Thankfully winters here are fairly mild but we get some cold days. Overalls still in the 90s
The solution to that is to regulate the cleanliness of places like India and China, considering that most of the pollution comes from there, which of course they would never do since it doesn't result in hurting white people.
Which is why in recent years they've been focusing less on CO2 and more on Nitrogen, specifically from farming. This is what the Dutch farmer protests were all about.
Their every "solution" against climate change involves some new & exotic form of consumerism. Whether it be electric cars, or govt contracts to build charging stations, or 15 minute cities, or carbon credit exchanges, every single "solution" involves already super rich people becoming even more rich somehow. Funny, they forgot to tell people to stop buying a new iphone every six months.
That's not even to mention them using climate change as yet another reason why we Westerners should feel a deep-seated moral obligation to accept "refugees" from africa and the middle east.
just like attempting to debunk the holocaust with wooden doors and disconnected chimneys, the eternal normie will not be convinced and will instead find a way to discredit any disagreeing study as wrongly conducted or as if your conclusion from it is wrong. this will never work.
here is what will: agree, amplify, redirect. dumping toxic shit into the atmosphere and rivers is bad for normies and autists both, so just agree with the normies when they say it. then just calmly move on to noting that it is countries like China, India, Bangladesh that cause the highest pollutions in the world of all kinds - plastic, atmospheric, aquatic, etcetera.
note that a single 747 flight from London to New York produces as much CO2 as 10 US citizens do in a whole year. note that the air in China is so bad they sell air bags and wear masks not to avoid viruses but lung conditions. give them a single video of the Ganges river. give them photos of African slums with trash piled higher than the sheds. ask them if it is those places we want to help continue their manufacture of pollution, or if instead we should move industry back here and then figure out the sophisticated art of not dumping all our garbage in the rivers.
note that we westerners are 10% or less of the world population, and that an Indian or Chinese village having 50x less pollution means nothing if there are 5000x more of them. note everything of this kind possible. that is how you'll get people to realize climate change, such as it is, is a fearmongering scam - not by trying to fight decades of statistics-based brainwashing, but by getting them to ask cui bono.
Until the ones whining about this do both of the following nobody should bother listening to their screeching.
1, Actually go for nuclear power.
2, Do something about China, India, and other regions producing far more shit than almost any other part of the world since those two countries and surrounding areas together have almost half the human population in them.
USA is 350 ish million. China + India are an entire magnitude higher than that at 3 billion plus.
But then it's not about China or India. It's not even about the environment. Govs just want yet another stick to beat and control the population with.
If you buy a $5 lottery ticket it'll be have almost no correlation to your savings account balance - your rent, utilities, and food have way more impact. Pay your $1000 rent and wow your savings goes down a lot.
Yet after a lifetime of buying lottery tickets you're down maybe $50k. That's real money even though it had basically no effect on your bank account at any time.
From glancing at it this seems to be the paper; ocean temps go up more CO2 increase, down less CO2 increase, but it doesn't address the lifetime of lottery tickets. The CO2 we put in the air has gone somewhere. It's not alchemy.
In other words just decreasing CO2 emissions won't do anything to change the current course, we'd actually have to go negative so much we get it down well below 400 ppm. Trillions of lbs of CO2 per year turned into limestone or whatever for decades to have any impact.
All the trillions of dollars that were ear-marked to spend on big batteries, high voltage transmissions lines, and wind turbines can now be diverted into health, improved living standards and eliminating poverty.
What would help poverty is for the governments to tax us less!
This will either be ignored, or worse, the bit about the sea temperature will be taken out of context and used to be even more draconian, because "ermagherd humans cause the icebergs to melt".
I feel the powers that be will ignore this. Also so many young people have been brainwashed to be terrified of climate change.

Are the just stop oil people still blocking traffic in the UK or have they faded out?

20mph areas? For energy conservation?
Make the gender pay gap infinite, women should stay at home.
an unafilliated researcher in an open access journal.
everyone should ignore this.
I doubt anything will convince certain people about the hysteria around climate change
and it will never be recognized. all heretical artifacts are to be shunned and burned.
I'm a huge fan of trying to protect the earth and finding good ways to clean the ocean and use more renewable energy.
Nothing wrong with any of that, it's useful and we only have one planet, keep it clean.
But these freaks have included it in their abortion death cult and ruined me even wanting to pretend to like environmentalism

They turned an issue of how people can affect the environment in positive and negative ways, and turned it into a death cult.

how assailable is this?

Can CO2 trap infinite heat?
No but that's not necessarily a good thing.
This paper claims that CO2 is saturated at 400 ppm in terms of heat retention which would mean the initial increase from industrial times is responsible for the warming by increasing from ~300 to heat saturation level and everything we're doing now is just locking it in.
In other words just decreasing CO2 emissions won't do anything to change the current course, we'd actually have to go negative so much we get it down well below 400 ppm. Trillions of lbs of CO2 per year turned into limestone or whatever for decades to have any impact.
Only White people care about the environment. Remember that.
There's too much graft, corruption and money to extort for them to give up even in the face of overwhelming evidence against their crackpot grift.
What would help poverty is for the governments to tax us less!

We have known this for 20 years.
