It's interesting that they fired the CM who told people to leave negative reviews in protest, but only demoted the one who made false allegations against Kern and was giddy about banning their political rivals.
That tells me Arrowhead was only angry at Purple because it went viral rather than because of their actions.
I think this was Sonys call and not Arrowheads in this case. They need to fire most of their CMs and the moron balancing dev but it's Sweden so nothing will ever happen.
Even if they fire every CM in the industry, there are thousands more drones just like them willing to step on you for an ounce of power, and the ability to be the high school mean girl they wished they were when they mattered.
Sadly, that person will find employment at another game company elsewhere, if they haven't already.

Exactly. Almost everyone talking about this issue always focus on the one guy who actually encouraged people to leave negative reviews, but no one says anything about the troon who was talking about liking Sony's PSN linking because it would make it easier for them to ban people.

He is retroactively trying to rewrite his own history and role in literally tanking the game's reputation. He nearly alone (until the CEO accidentally made it worse) turned it from a bubbling thing to an 12/10 and probably cost the company 6 figure+ in refunds. He is lucky he was only fired for such a spectacular fuckup.

Helldivers 2 is still not worth redemption. Nuclear solution is no quarter, no tolerance. To let it serve as an example to fear to future devs never to take the publisher deal or to hire faggots don't play the game as community managers.
I'm guessing Sony required at least one head be lobbed off and presented to them. And they picked the least woke one to sacrifice.

I heard mixed things that although he did the initially bad response but then 'come to the light' moment when Sony tried to enforce PSN on the PC community (and that might be an still ongoing war), he apparently was a known git in the discord.
Since the rainbow one was demoted at least and they're on bank holiday break right now, maybe an ongoing process? I'm busy hating Sony right now as that's still the main issue with this game.
