America First Legal Sues IBM Subsidiary “Red Hat” for Alleged Anti-White, Anti-Male Discrimination
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal (AFL), with its co-counsel, including Robert Barnes, filed a lawsuit on behalf of its client against the International Business Machines Corporation’s (IBM) subsidiary, Red Hat, for violating Civil Rights laws ...
It does not surprise me in the least. There is a high chance this comes from IBM, I remember finding it funny that when ever there were job cuts it was always older white men that got fired despite having black people with much worse metrics. White guy had a bad year, bam fired, black chick being bottom of the barrel for years, Indian woman that did barely any work - no problem. Everyone accepted it at the time, it's strange how easily we accepted discrimination because there were not enough of them to be a big deal.
In IBMs defense, they were very fair with compensation. If someone had to be let go they would be given a considerable amount of money and usually the guys that had to be let go were happy with the deal.
IBM used to exemplify American Exceptionalism... what a travesty they have become.. (and no im not an ibm historian i fully expect one of you to tell me theyve always been like this)
Companies don't make history if they aren't good at providing something that people want. Nothing is perfect, but at least in the past they hired people who could do the job well.
they certainly did. I worked with some older guys that worked at IBM back in the good old days and they left a very lasting impression on me as well as a respect for what IBM used to be about... still got a THINK placard on my desk from one of them.
Now American companies are glorified Chinese drop-shippers.
oh you wanted made in america? yeahhhhh best i can do is "designed in america"
not in my lifetime.. and I don't buy the boomer perspective on it..
on IBM? you dont have to buy a boomer perspective, just read a bit about their history. they did great things and they did great things before boomers were even born.
its like ford... some boomer tells you to buy american and you roll your eyes knowing fords are built in mexico BUT beyond the boomers stupid perspective, nostalgia and decades of memes/jokes... ford was great and like ibm exemplified american exceptionalism. does it mean shit for that company today (or even 30 years ago)? no. does it mean you should throw away your pride in knowing your people created those businesses/technologies that changed the world? also no.
Using lawfare against them is the only way this shit ends. It'll either force sanity back or the swamp to surface more of their Marxist bullshit to the public which would not be good for them long term
Good. The cucks there have been spreading The Gae quite virulently

Ugh, I need to figure out how all these open source devs survive so I can make a fork of Linux free of stupidity. I already ditched
DeLesbian for the direction their stuff was going.Check out Rosa, it's a Russian fork of Mageia.
Seems like it should be an easy case. They have the leaked video of the CEO of IBM and CEO of Redhat blabbering on about how they're going to keep hwytie (and asians) down by not hiring or promoting them.
I have been waiting for a lawsuit like this. You can't have unprecedented levels of diversity hires without breaking discrimination laws.
Good, hope they win.
It seems like the quotas will come back to haunt them. Usually, they spew some generic shit about increasing diversity and get away with that.
Or, more correctly, just plain old discrimination.
RIP CentOS, gotta gib more gibs.
