Does it actually work? i'm almost tempted to try this out but... i don't really wanna partake in the exact culture that destroyed our society
but the logic behind it is solid: Women want to feel so desireable that they can "steal" a man from another woman, thus... tingling her "i'm special" feefees
The alternative is out there. It's your job in life find them, marry them, and breed children with them, so that the next generation doesn't have to share your pessimism.
From the perspective of actually being married, yes it works. My wife is drop dead gorgeous and since she's visited work before to pick me up, a bunch of the other guys know what she looks like. One of which asked me if he could have her if I die.
Consequently, ever since that circulated through work I get a lot of attention from the women who work there too.
I'm essentially a machinist too so I don't even wear my ring. Women just have to hear from proximate men that you're married to a babe, and some fuse pops in their brain and they find you interesting all of a sudden.

Married to a babe, dating their friend, their coworker's man... women view mating as a social hierarchy game, men view mating as a genetic game. This is why women talk about "dating out of his league" and men talk about "his girl has nice tits/ass/legs."
Said it before, say it again, the most attention I've ever gotten was the year after I broke up with a college ex. It seemed like a third of her sorority tried to make a pass at me.
Well that's the interesting part to me. None of them are within four points of my wife. And I mean not even close.
Many women seem to be indulging the delusion that their actual attractiveness is equivalent to whatever guy they can manage to bang. Nevermind that none of them have a chance, they just desperately want to think they do.
This is something hoe_math on YouTube talks about a lot. Modern women are skewed in their self-perception. They seem to think that because they got with a 10 once that they are a 10, and deserve all 10s, all the time. Meanwhile, a 10 guy can get a 10 woman-- an actual 10 woman-- but a woman who's a 6 and easy can get a 10 man... for a night or two.
Most women self-rate themselves about 2-3 points higher than they really are. Most women think that the average guy is a 3-4. In the end, you have 6s thinking they're 9s and 10s, trying to wife a 10, while Chad and Tyrone pump and dump her. While the average guy gets... not much.
What was the chris rock joke? A guy meets his friend's girl and goes "I want to meet a girl like her." A girl meets her friend's man and goes "I want him."
it's social proof. they see the ring and it's already on. they see my wife and they're going even harder. i'm not a bad looking guy, so was already doing pretty well. but when i got married, it was noticeable how much more women will actively hit on me. even married women. some directly in front of my wife.
I swear I'm not that naïve when it comes to women despite how I am but it is fucking striking learning how many women out there are utter psychopaths when it comes to how they select men. It's not just a case of "Oh he looks cute" they actually make fucking lists and plot to steal a man from another woman if they think it's worth it. I know people throw psychological terms around a lot but I do think it's fair to call that psychopath behaviour. There's also a very real pecking order among women they're nutcases about and you know this is true because they'll fucking tell you and I've had women talk to me about how much they hate that kind of shit too.
Do you know what the worse part is? It's become more obvious to me over time that they do it in social relationships as well so they'll pull this crap with men and others they simply hang out with. You've got to vet people very carefully these days before you ever let them in your life. They will ditch whole groups of people and whatnot like it's fucking nothing. No normal person does that unless they've had something bad happen to them which would be way more understandable. They pick and choose their social relationships like toys in a pram.
Plus, there's the old stereotype of women coming out of the woodwork to flirt with you after you get a girlfriend. Women try to pass this off as 'because you're no longer trying so hard', but, c'mon.
Yep. And there's plenty of evidence to back it up. It's both depressing if you're single and looking for someone and nihilistic because it means that women prefer unavailable men over available men.
As someone who has stopped trying, "no longer trying so hard" is complete bullshit. Attention levels are less than when I was trying, because to the surprise of grievance studies majors everywhere, women want to be noticed and appreciated, and if I don't give a fuck about their existence beyond what is contractually required by my job, they don't care either.
there have been numerous studies on this, where they give a guy a back story, and ask women to rate him for a sexual fling. and then they take the same guy and ask a bunch more women, same backstory, except this time he's married. and women overwhelmingly prefer to fuck the married version of the guy.
women want what other women want. women want what other women have. women want what they are told they cannot have.
If you're not already acting like a sleezebag wearing a ring isn't going to help. You have to be able to pull it off. I'm not sure I really want to be able to pull that off. It doesnt' sound fun to me. I don't like lying.

Keep in mind you'd be sleeping with sexually promiscuous, low IQ, low conscientiousness women.
If cooming is your goal, it might work. If finding a partner is your goal, this is retardation.
You can just say “women”
The alternative is out there. It's your job in life find them, marry them, and breed children with them, so that the next generation doesn't have to share your pessimism.
Exactly.
Who would want to get with a woman who'd have an affair?
Islam is right about women.
So bring your own condoms.

Yep, same thing if you have one of your kids present.

Pre-Selection bias exists.

So, yeah. I can absolutely see this as a thing.

yes. many women are mentally damaged.

No, women “social proof.” If he’s proven to be desirable by “approval” from other women, women subsequently assume he’s been vetted.
Yes. I wear a ring as fashionable jewelry, and it looks very similar to a wedding ring.
The difference in interest from women is significant and noticeable.
I've been debating wearing a simple fake wedding band for a few months now. Especially when I start hitting the gym again in the next few weeks.
We should all give this a try.
It doesn’t work if you’re ugly. You have to be attractive AND married
