It really is amazing how even vaunted skepticism goes out the window when it’s the “Hebrew bible.”
That's an odd way to refer to the Torah and/or Talmud or whatever its called.
Jews don't call it "the Hebrew bible"
The Hebrew Bible is basically the Old Testament including Kings, Chronicles, the minor prophets etc, the Torah is the first 5 books of the OT (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy), and the Talmud is a post-Christ book in which rabbis try to argue and lawyer with God about the OT, and Jesus is said to be burning in hell. Unsurprisingly, the Talmud is the central text of Judaism.
I remember the term "hebrew bible" being used excessively in some infomercial that used to air before cartoons when I was a kid.
Christopher Hitchens was Jewish and a staunch Marxist until his rise to fame when he kept it under wraps and did things like defend socialism in the soviet union because "muh russian church" (watch his debate with Peter. During the audience Q&A someone rightfully brings up secular governance and the horrors it created). He fails to ever mention how the church was subverted by godless communists and slaughtered innocent clergy.
Sam Harris is Jewish and a complete Israel simp (wonder why he goes so hard on Islam, huh?). In one of his Q&As, he specifically stated he doesn't go after Judaism because it "is benign and keeps to itself" [paraphrase].
Dawkins is a shabbos goy who gushes praise on Judaism and Jews every chance he can get.

Hitch is obviously a blowhard of the highest order if you read his books. There's a part in god is not great where he brags about his charitable heart that I thought was some kind of satire. It's transparently sentimental, petulant juvenilia.
He should, but I think antitheists are too inconsistent around Muslims to depict it as simply as the others.
