Also I’m throwing the bs flag regarding historians arguing mixed ancestry. This is all similar to how modern day period pieces push the idea that 1600s London looked like modern day Los Angeles. No legit historian is saying this. Although if they want to play the game of “you have 1 percent African dna so you are black” then I want to see a lot of white people taking advantage of affirmative action. Heck, according to this you just need to say “possible ancestry”
I feel like I remember some Ancestry employee admitting that they fake 1% African DNA results on people's profiles purely because they know it's a way to upset them.
