Every day I start yearning for our machine overlords...
...so long as not made by leftists, I'm ok with Texas, Japan or even Russia making the AI Overlord just not the commies.
Texas AI demands we have more guns and Dr pepper. Also, Oklahoma has been nuked.
Texan here.
Given that every single county in Oklahoma went for Trump both times, I say they can stay.
It's funny to me how people wanna talk about states like Texas or Florida as "super maga" but have to fight like hell to beat the invader counties to go red.
Meanwhile, as you say, Oklahoma didn't fold in a single county out of like, 99 or something.
It used to be red states couldn't be next to the coasts. Now they can't be close to the border. Only a Dakota gonna be red at some point.
I'm sure the current state of things is extremely frustrating to young, big tent Republicans. Their future depends on getting votes from "new Americans." Trump rejects this. He's popular. So meanwhile they have to trash their future opportunities to get elected now.
The parties will approach 50/50 on a long enough time scale. The question is just who makes them up and what they stand for, which constantly changes.
You'll just beat them at the game?
You know how the DNC uses their demographically guaranteed seats to make sure the most ideologically pure psychos get government authority? The RNC uses their guarantees to get ordinary Democrats elected.
Actually trying to think what a Florida AI would do...
No joke I think we get 40K, amazing tech with eldritch horrors!
The orcs are just white trash gators and moss aren't they?
Spring breakers are Slanesh worshippers
Necrons are all the old folks there
Dear god it all makes sense..
Is Walt Disney the undead emperor?
Fuck even that fits!
An undead emperor watching over a dying empire that has forgotten his original message..
Does this mean the Horus Heresy happens in Orlando?
The Emperor has laid in his golden freezer for six decades, dead but dying.
This explains the people who are forced to say "have a magical day" at Disney world. They can't speak of the emperor.
I'd like to have a couple of mechadentrites and a servo-arm
Burn the heretic! Kill the cityslickers! Purge the tourists!
We tried that, and it turned into Halloween Horror Nights
I mean 2/3 ain't bad
Depends on if the Texas AI has the judicial system program installed, because the judges in Texas are SJWs and leftists just like every other state. The judicial system is a Democrat stronghold these days.
If. You. Talk. Like. This. I. Know. Stupid. Follows.
Oh god, I can hear the clapping behind every fullstop
Why do idiots think using AI/computers a bit means no human input happens?
My workplace has a very complicated schedule structure. THANK GOD we have some computer system to at least do the first basic sketch of the planned schedules, otherwise it would be madness.
Because they are the same people who turn in first drafts and think that's acceptable too.
The people explicitly hoping to pass off responsibility to AI. Normally people who don't know anything about computers.
It's true, my company has a program planning our schedules.
The last one is... interesting. Guess computers are too logical to deny social benefits based on wrongthink
Not if it's run by the correct training
I'm actually 100% onboard with this.
Computers do not make decisions. Do not ask them to. They are only prepared to preform a task they are programmed to. No computer is capable of choice, let alone important decisions like hiring, firing, scheduling, or social benefits.
Stop trusting computers to make decisions for you.
Women are never held accountable either.
You see where this is going.
Interestingly, this is what's going to save most jobs from moving to machine learning systems.
If the truck-driving AI gets in an accident, who's at fault? The company that is running the driving system? The company that sold it to them? The company that developed the software? Which component of the software stack was to blame?
Or, you know, blame the human truck driver, claim he was on reds or whatever.
I've already seen people blame the truck itself. Have you seen the remote trucker set ups?
You're 100% right. It's why Boeing failed to take pilots out of the cockpit in the fucking 70's and 80's. Someone must be held accountable, and a truck driver signs for his load.
Someone saw that slide and got ideas.
Sadly
Having a computer programmed to do it correctly would be an improvement. Having a computer programmed by leftists just means an implacable enemy you can't even threaten with slurs.
