i was argueing with someone who was defending the localizers of Granblue Fantasy: Relink and bad translations and the censorship of outfits. Normally people like this i know are just bad actors and agenda driven so you can never reason with them because they aren't interested with being reasoned with they just want to win and push their own agendas. . And he even tried to call people who spoke against localizations, " tourist"(deliberately stealing our word) just because we dont talk about the game on twitter.
I kept emphasizing the fact that he wasn't a real fan and that we call people like him tourists because they are fine with the original works getting butchered . He kept defending and making excuses, from saying that "the company probably oversees it and they were fine with it so its faithful" to "why dont you just learn Japanese"

So why was he defending the localizers and the censorship in the first place WTF? Was he just defending the localizers just because he wants to defend "authorities" and not out of any real personal belief or principle?. ? wtf. So not only do we have to deal with actual agenda driven communists, we also have to deal with retard NPC's that just like to defend the "authorities" for no reason other than they are "authorities"
During WWII the Japanese homefront defense called for the arming of women and children with melee weapons to fight the Americans. It wasn't a strategy designed to properly allocate military resources. It was designed to demoralize the Americans and fuck them up by slaughtering women and children.

Historically there actually were "female samurai" who were called Onna-musha. They were trained on how to fight so that they could defend the house when their samurai husband were out. You shouldn't even bother with the NPCS, you need to talk to the studios and the Japanese themselves. If you try to talk to NPCS you are inadvertently making them gatekeepers by assuming that it's important they see how bad their woke shit is.

its less that they care about the work being butchered in localization , they actually do have this thinking that "things need to be localized for different regions to suit the locals of that region" so they leave the localizers to it ,, so its more that WE need to let them know that this isn't what we want and we the locals of the different region are not happy with it and we dont agree with the localizers and that the localizers and activists don't speak for the real fans overseas

The german versions of everything always get the short end of the stick. Censorship, skipping entire cut scenes, dialogue edits, four legged mishapen spider flag removal, etc. They should have known better, but they were too holier than thou to realize it. I've been in that mindset before. It's super tough to get out of.
