I watched Sound of Freedom and it was a good movie, but everytime I watch or read something about human trafficking/modern slavery it really angers me because I think of all the kids that could have been saved if the mainstream media shined the light on that topic instead of glorifying lgbt causes, made up racial grievances, or feminist cyrbabies to name a few. When it comes to open borders I do feel there is an agenda to flood western countries with the third world or replace the dominant population (whether it is the WEF, Bildebergs, CFR, Club of Rome, etc.) but I do think another aspect of it is human trafficking because they use kids and pretend to be their parents which was why they had that separation done that the media went crazy about (kids in cages). Add in all those conspiracy theories regarding elites and pedophilia and there is quite a bit of smoke.
As for the modern day slavery thing, I remember I asked a guy who was lecturing me about American slavery why he doesn't focus his energy on donating or volunteering for organizations that help victims of human trafficking/modern day slavery. He told me I was deflecting and didn't want to acknowledge America's past. I just shook my head and walked away.
Sadly it's in the interests of a lot of people in the media and people with ties to the media to keep the trafficking going.
The kids these days are into Mr Beast.
Yea. Like when people talk about ending poverty or hunger I ask what they are doing now because within a 5 mile radius you could probably find something to volunteer with. I know I could do more but I work with my church on different outreach programs
Foster parent and youth leader for my church. I'm about to train the boys how to do LARP roman legion stuff. They will make (padded) swords and have great battles.
That’s awesome! Tell me how they liked it. I help with you that my church but I doubt they would be interested
The group I got assigned is pretty young and it has a lot of women leaders. We will see what happens. Boys love battles and stuff, but you need to train them in safety first.
Yea I’m a rare male youth leader too. We do yearly Lutheran retreats and one lady was telling me how glad she was to see a male youth leader
That’s a lot for sure
<* accept his planned destruction of America that comes with continually lying about our past>
It's the United Nations or at least they're the ones with a webpage dedicated to the subject.

They only went crazy about it when Trump got into office. They didn't care when it started under Obama. I even remember there being an article that got deleted. It talked about the peak number, but people pointed out the date happened under Obama and they nuked it.
The response to "pizza gate" was very telling. Reddit freaked out hard on that one. Their reaction was enough to even lend some serious plausibility to the whole thing.
NPCs gonna NPC. Could've asked him why he was avoiding talking about present issues instead of ancient history, but my interactions with NPCs lead to me knowing it's a waste of time.
Yep, I remember during the kids in cages thing the trying to explain to people it was a continuation of what Obama was doing but they wouldn’t hear it. I remember someone telling me his they have to separate adults and kids because you do have those who traffic the kids. Incidentally I used to watch a lot of ESPN shows but was slowly getting tired of wanting a show about sports that turned into politics. Around the horn had an episode where the host ended the show crying about kids in cages. That was it for me.
I always thought with Pizzagate there was enough to raise eyebrows at least.
I know a lot of people involved in the fight against human trafficking of various kinds that are both as left as you can get and on the right. The weirder part of the lefty efforts, much like everything, is that they actively try to shit on the right’s efforts of directly helping people and putting deterrents in place for people trafficking folks. Although I love her to death, a literal conversation I had with one lefty girl about that is that although she hadn’t seen the film, her colleagues all said it’s just promoting a fantasy that you can help these kids, and that the real answer is basically to fight capitalism. That the net result will make things worse for kids because it’ll pull efforts away from fighting capitalism. Keep in mind the film’s based on a true story and she knows that.
She’s a smart, talented, and wonderful human being that actually works with Biden himself in person and all else at times. I feel really bad for thinking that all her well meaning efforts have been sabotaged by that toxic mindset. I’m sure she’s probably helped more than she’s hurt, but still, it’s painful to think about for me.
I can see why a leftist would blame capitalism. Sad that she thinks that why. I’ve known some leftists who have good hearts but genuinely think a politician can wave a magic wand and solve everyone’s problems or think that “free stuff” is the answer. Like you said I’ve known those who do work in food pantries and volunteer so I appreciate that but I wish they didn’t see socialism as some magical solution
The sad truth is that there will always be some people that are poor. Out here we have a lot of homeless, and they’re not homeless because capitalism wronged them. They’re usually homeless because they’re crazy or addicted to drugs. Giving them money doesn’t solve that, and neither does giving poor girls money save them from being sold into sex slavery.
If we shot more of the people selling people into sex slavery, and put their heads on pikes, I guarantee you selling people into sex slavery will go down more than giving poor people free stuff. As a bonus, you shot actual human traffickers. Not one person will be surprised or miss them.
Handing out expired meat to poors and patting themselves on the back...
Here's a thought: maybe if she supported capitalism by starting a business, she could employ these people and they wouldn't need her charity?
True. The local food pantry in my county is good but I’ve heard that very complaint. They don’t see business that way or they don’t realize how all the regulations they want to impose affects small businesses
What the fuck does she think capitalisms is?
Have you asked her? Does she even know?
Capitalism, the term, was invented by Marx. Is she honestly a Marxist who thinks that child trafficking will end if we are all good little socialists?
Ask her: "If you Marxists are content with letting thousands of kids get raped every night to bring about the Workers' Revolutions, what will you do to stay in power?"
Neo Marxists are unironically evil. Calling her one of Stalin's Useful Idiot's is too kind.
We’ve tried talking about capitalism and it didn’t go well. She said it’s all exploitation. She’s a client that pays me and I asked her if she thought she was exploiting me. She said that’s different.
Like a lot of people, she seems to believe things mostly based on who believes it and their credentials.
She thinks with her feelings.
If anybody wants to check out the projects of Angel, the studio that produced Sound of Freedom, they have many films that can be streamed on their website for free. They are religious oriented but that also means that there is no LGTB propaganda in their films. https://www.angel.com/watch
Thanks!! Will check them out. I heard the studio head interviewed on Timcast
You're one of the good ones Smithy
Thanks! I try
I watched the movie a few months ago and it was very really done. It's impossible to not be moved by the story, and for that story to lead to some introspection. After watching it I too asked myself, how on earth do we fix this problem? How do we stop people, especially children, from being trafficked and sold as slaves for horrific acts? Do I have to be like Tim Ballard and go and liberate children from slavery? All credit to him, what he did was remarkable, but personally I couldn't do it. I wouldn't stand a chance, I'd be fucked up by these people traffickers before I could even say a word.
Yes, maybe you are right that the world refuses to focus on the problem, and maybe if we did focus on it we could all make a difference. But I will expand on that thinking a bit. The reason for this problem, the reason for all problems in the world is the culture we create. And by we I do mean we. Everything single one of us. The problem isn't just those people over there - feminists or trannies or 'niggers' (all favorite scapegoats of many of those here). It's me and you as well (John 8:7).
Using God's children for perverted sexual fantasies is not just because of the perverted people who do it. It's also down to a culture that trivialises sex to the point of absurdity. With fornication, adultery, and use of pornography rampant, is it any wonder that some members of society cross these the blurry and changeable lines we humans have created as to what is sexually licit versus illicit?
The line God created for us is not blurry. It is clear, unambiguous and fixed. Sex is for procreation. It links God's gift of creation to joining of a man and a woman in an indissoluble bond (Matthew 19). In human hands, marriage is not perfect. It does not necessarily solve children being sold for marriage itself, but it makes one line absolutely clear, and we can build the other lines similarly based on what we know to be right and just.
Christ gave us all a mission. The mission is clear - to spread the understanding of God and His moral law to all of our brothers and sisters. To ourselves be holy and obey His law so that we are not hypocrites like the Pharisees. To acknowledge that yes, in some way I contribute to the problems of the world, not just the other people over there. Not just the feminists or trannies or 'niggers'. It's my fault as well, for I am a sinner. And it's not going to be solved by anything except trying my best to make sure His light is within me, and from me to others.
So, my plea is we all follow or stay on that path. Focus on spreading His light to the world in whatever way you can. Have the moral courage the point out the sins and flaws in thinking of those we may consider our friends or brethren when it's clear to us that they are straying from the path. Use prayer as a means to honestly examine our consciences so that we may see our our faults, rather than focusing only on the faults of others. Use prayer to not only ask our God to intervene to solve the problems of the world, but to ask for help and guidance of Our Lord so that we may be properly led along this path to do what we each need to do. Use prayer to ask our God to help others we reach our to see His light and repent, and the grace to be able to love our enemies (Matthew 5:43-48), so that we may be able to spread His light to them so they too follow Him, instead of merely wishing these enemies of ours were gone or dead.
The problems of the world will only be solved by building His kingdom here on earth. Nothing more, nothing less.
Amen! Well said. I agree. We all do share some blame. I guess I was thinking about the popular causes we see today. I do my best to love my enemies and follow the greatest commandment. Always gotta stay in prayer
Amen.
As before the Africans are active in human trafficking. Of course they don't want to talk about it.
True.
Apparently this guy is just a kooky sex cult wierdo and it's all bullshit.
If I was in a pdeo cult that controlled the media, and this guy called me out, I'd probably say the same.
Really?! I know some kids were actually rescued.
