4 chin has been cucked since before gamer gate. It’s basically just reddit for redditors who want to feel a little edgy while still being huge histrionic faggots who can’t handle a different opinion.
don't have much of a choice. reddit is full on garbage, and 4chan is a roullete where you'll get whacked by discord troon. Its really just the power tripping faggotry that got worse. Most of us just deal with the 3 day vacation, because we all that site will die soon since no one's buying the pass.
Still wish there was an alternative but alas no. Reddit I barely even use anymore and 4chan I only check g and even that is horrible due to the shills. Anything NSFW is filled with tranny shit and disgusting blacked stuff. Anything SFW is full of shills and tranny jannies who don't like differing options. I'd hazard to guess if there was actually a replacement it would be overrun by the same people.

I first browsed the chans twenty years ago. I remember most of the posters would not suffer people who behaved like modern discord mods; and said mods would probably get triggered to tears by those posters within minutes.
The beauty of 4chan in the old days was that everything was tolerated by the mods, even the fucked stuff. 4chan used to be a bastion of divergent freedoms, literally anything and everything was posted and allowed. The OG 4channers were even tolerant of CP, because 4chan was a place where anything goes. Current normies would lose their minds over the stuff that used to get posted on 4chan. Now it's a propaganda operation, the minefield of extreme freedoms has been swept clean.
