I was watching this video about the current state if Twitch after the TOS debacle. It's so bad that they are naked with literal black bars covering them and the just chatting page is full of thots.
So I did an experiment with my own Twitch account, went onto just chatting and sure enough, lots of topless thots on display and twerking streams BUT a significant thing to mention, this was it filtered to Recommended for you and their viewer figures are abysmal being on average 700 viewers. Sargon gets more viewers than that when he streams. There does seem to be a higher viewership with the Asian thots but then they also seem to not just stare at the camera like a cow chewing grass all day.
I then switched the filters to view count only and bam! All topless and twerking thots erased, it actually became more male dominated with podcasts, IRL streaming at a certain location and Vtubers.
So this is the part that puzzles me, why PUSH the thot content when it isn't as popular as someone just walking around, is drawing the attention of app stores (since you're meant to be 13+), advertisers and more troubling payment processors like Mastercard and Paypal for Chaterbate rejects? This WILL eventually cause some kind of withdrawal by advertisers maybe even app stores which will draw in Amazon who wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice Twitch to ensure THEY aren't affected.
Do the want Kick and Youtube to surpass them in streaming or are they all grossly incompetent to manage anything? I don't really care as I'm preparing popcorn for the car crash but it's was funny finding out that sex DOESN'T ALWAYS sell, depends on the source a lot of the time.
The best explanation I have heard from the start is that the Twitch admins are themselves thirst-fiends. Despite how stupid this is, it covers their many strange behaviors nicely. The comically soft touch (Amoranth banned for the 60th time in a year for only 24 hours), the willingness to invent categories for specific people, and the fact that the admins hang out in streams all the time and yet don't shut down shit that goes too far until far too late. Thus, some one (or several) admins are themselves deranged simps who can't see past their erect pee pee to run a business.
Now, an alternative theory that is more complicated, is that they are captured by the modern belief that women can do no wrong. Empowered by their sexuality, too pure to game a system, victimized by all of society for all of history and thus deserving a break. Some collection of these beliefs along with a fear of the media (who so far have been very willing to trump up any controversy involving a thot with her as the central sympathetic character) cow them into inaction, passivity, and enablement.
A significant 'meta' on Twitch right now by these chicks is to deliberately skate policy of mentioning porn sites by bundling their 'external links' (twitter, instagram, etc) within an externally served list that includes their strip-cam accounts as well. The explicit intention is to pipeline their easy-to-obtain audience on a popular site to their much more profitable sex hustle. Realizing this should have had the admins come down on them with terrible fury for fear of being implicated in a wide-spread grooming project, but they didn't. Were they more afraid of being the only culprits the media would mention? Do they perceive themselves as barely containing a no-win situation with placation and perfunctory micro-action?
I don't have a definitive answer myself.
The company is run by stereotypical "male feminists". Reddit simps who struck gold. They Believe All Women and pretend that exploitation is empowerment as a rationalization of their perversion / desperation.

I think the important part to this puzzle is the fictional/reality divide in rule enforcement in that they'll simp heavily and try to soften any punishments to thots displaying their real assests but heavy hand any punishments to drawn art or virtual avatars.
I don't know where this fits in trying to understand ANY motivations behind their actions but it is important fact to add.
The important part is that we're so deep in female entitlement (and neuroticism) that we're past the question of what to do with female sexuality, and now in the realm of how much of male sexuality belongs to women. I don't mean something like child custody either, I mean the right to your own sexual thoughts and feelings.

Fictional women are their worst enemy, because no anime jpeg or movie streaming service has ever swept left. You can have mildly sexual thoughts about a woman without a real woman benefitting. How are these vapid, narcissistic sluts supposed to compete? How are they supposed to get your attention and resources that they're entitled to, if you have any other options?
Obviously the thots are doing it because "it's there" and because it makes money, and Amazon's management is pulling some ass backwards moves (either deliberately or because of sheer incompetence).
The simping psychology at work here is what I straight up don't get though. It's especially perplexing when comparing against to cam sites that actually are advertised for adult content. Just doesn't make any sense to me.
Unless it's an even screwier situation where a lot of these simps are being groomed by thots at pre-18 ages... which could explain a fuckton.

I only see it on the Western side and I'll be honest, the streams regularly I watch aren't the types these super simps go to. No wonder during my mini experiment the Asian thots seem to have a lot better production thumbnail alone compared to western thots if they got these kinds of backers
Bear in mind, viewer numbers aren't the only factor in monetary value. Thots can (and potentially do) make Twitch a good amount of money through viewer memberships and donations even if each streamer does not draw a large audience. As of yet, horny whales aren't extinct.
With that said, kicking out the girls would take out some of that audience and revenue. You've salvaged ads, but how do you recover the revenue? More ads? Viewers generally don't like that. And streamers don't want you taking a bigger cut of memberships/donations either.
Twitch probably wants to do as little as possible to satiate advertisers and retain the "content."
I'd be less concerned about ads as that's canary in the coal mine. I'd be more worried if payment processors decide they don't want to do business or if the app store decides you aren't 13+ anymore..
Yeah, I'm not sure why payment processors are being so inconsistent here so far. Normally they have knee-jerk reactions to this kind of thing.
I was also going to bring up stock, but then I checked and confirmed that it would be Amazon stock value. Which I guess gives Twitch a protective shield in that way.
I assume Amazon is just looking at Mastercard and VISA, and going "really? You're going to prevent the use of your cards... to Amazon? You're going to spit in the face of Lord Bezos?" and then moving on.
I should mention I was grouping those in with advertisers. I don't know that their demands will differ too much regarding sexual content.

Impact of their decisions, it's the difference between a tactical strike and a fire bombing as, for instance, Twitch was dropped from the app store since they aren't 13+ anymore, Amazon would, without hesitation purge ALL management there immediately just to show they aren't the same as Twitch.
With payment processors that would be a lot quicker as well as a mass migration of streamers to YouTube, Kick hell even Rumble at that point.

I've heard of NONE of the artists getting banned for a week or two getting amnesty over the TOS, a vtuber did get amnesty but that was because she literally had two Twitch moderators IN HER CHAT as she was drawing so they couldn't claim ignorance on that one.
