Jimmy Dore actually has a surprisingly good news podcast. It's almost funny watching him expose government incompetence and corruption on a near daily basis (Maui, Ukraine, the jab, Biden's crime family...) only to have him conclude that government should be fixing these things.
The alternate douche that's been hosting recently is far worse though. He just hates the United States and finds a way to blame everything on the US or white people.
Yeah. I don't watch him often but, as hilarious as it may sound, Jimmy Dore is one of my go-to examples of a sane, logical leftist.
I don't agree on all his takes (lefty economics are always big yikes), but I agree with him on plenty, and think his heart is in the right place. I'd take Jimmy Dore over a neocon almost any day of the week, especially on something like foreign policy. Heck, on foreign policy, I can't imagine ever taking a neocon over Jimmy Dore.
Nonsense interpretation.
Jimmy Dore is not a sane or logical Leftists. Leftists are never sane or logical, and this shows that you still don't understand your enemy. This is Jimmy Dore ranting about the need to attack police officers who were arresting people, including beating cops with a tire iron. This specific clip is interesting because Gavin Long responded to it on his YouTube channel. Gavin Long is a mass shooter who killed 4 cops and wounded 6 others. He explicitly re-iterated Jimmy Dore's statements about the need to use violence to stop cops because the America is a racist police state and cops kill black people with impunity; which was also one of Jimmy Dore's talking points.
The Young Turks intentionally lied about Gavin Long, and tried to pretend that he was a white Sovereign Citizen. The Young Turks then made 2 copyright claims against the videos that Gavin Long made, covering up the fact that they and Jimmy Dore's statements were explicitly used to justify his terrorist attack.
Actual Justice Warrior & AtheismIsUnstoppable's videos go over more violence from the Left, including more calls for violence from this year, but you shouldn't have to fucking guess at whether or not the political Left has completely normalized unlimited violence against their political enemies if you have any knowledge of history, or if you have any knowledge of the past few days seeing their open support for Hamas and explicitly the atrocities they've committed. "Decolonization is not bloodless"
You can bet your ass that Gavin Long's terror attack is NOT identified as a Leftwing terror attack in the US, they do not accurately report the number of deaths and wounded, and they do claim that lawsuits against BLM in response to the shooting were frivolous, and that this attack will be used as justification to deprive you of your 2nd Amendment rights to own a firearm in order to defend yourself against further Leftist terror attacks against you and your family, since you will be blamed by Jimmy Dore for having an unreasonable obsession with guns... while the terrorists he inspires kills you
Jimmy isn't wrong in that clip apart from the racial angle. They wrongfully kill, injure or disable people all the time and get away with it.
The violence angle is the problem, and that's assuming that anything they reported was accurate. Normally it's not.
No argument with any of that, except that that clip is what, a decade old? People do change. In fact, I've kind of enjoyed watching several other Jimmy Dore types slowly red pill themselves over the past decade or so.
Hell, I've personally gone from, "I don't really think guns are the problem but I don't want them around me" to "from my cold, dead hands. Also, I want a tank." over the past 4 or 5 years.
I agree, but Dore is still a Leftist progressive who is less based than Destiny... so I just don't see it as likely.
A good way to head off anyone beginning to develop a fondness for the likes of Dore is to simply start giving a shit about things like the truth about Hamas. Dore capitalizes on a weak point that only exists because of the """right's""" blind loyalty to Israel.
I feel like if I spent a half hour with Jimmy, I could actually change his mind on a few things. He seems like he'd actually listen, and he's not blind to the insanity of our "leaders." I think he's just got unexamined beliefs - e.g. universal health care is a good thing!
Jimmy is open to being wrong on most subjects, except police. He's got some baggage with his dad / family all being cops. Not that I'm a fan of cops as a whole.
The guest host lately, Craig, he's ok. I guess I've missed the 'white people bad' stuff, but he does have a hate boner for US govt.
You kind of hinted at it, but both of them, most of 'the left' in general, rail against government, only to demand more of it. I'll never understand that logic. I think what they really mean is, 'additional government we gain control of' versus blanket, more government.
Personally I'd axe 95% of DC bureacracy and departments.
the people are the problem. the system is a mess, but I would take it 100% as-is if our politicians were nationalists and protectionists instead of foreign-owned grifters, women, and non-white foreigners who don't even know what America is.
The most egregious bit that I'm thinking of is when he started defending the diversity hire who was doing "equity-based water distribution" on Maui on the basis that he was just being thrown under the bus by the powers that be because he was a native that cared about about the natives.
I'm just sitting there thinking, "bitch, he was the powers that be."
I know what you're talking about. I remember his before (trip) and after trip videos on that. I gave him some benefit of the doubt because he was out there talking to people on the ground. However, it's bullshit. That guy was spouting commie talking points with no gun to his head. He was an activist thru and thru, nothing to do with caring about native's water, as under his tenure %50+ of it was going to Oprah and golf courses anyhow. Fuck that.
Anyhow I figured he talked to the locals, and they weren't raging at the guy, so he cooled his jets. Yet, it's inauthentic to say the water board guy wasn't an identitarian to begin with, and that influenced his incompetence, or more likely malfeasance.
IIRC, after Craig "Pasta" Jardula returned from his Lahaina trip, he discovered by talking to locals that after years of lobbying, they were about to sign an agreement to reroute some of the water that had been historically deprived from the area back.
But apparently the fires broke out literally the day the agreement was supposed to be made official, erasing all that progress.
Jardula also helped to provide some context to that native Hawaiian water board manager clip whereas Jimmy and Kurt had simply used it as fake news/ragebait at the time of the fire, presenting the clip as though it was contemporary.
I agree that I'm not sure that I believe the whole of Jardula's pro-native Hawaiian narrative. But he does deserve credit for dropping everything and flying to Hawaii on his own over the Labor Day weekend.
He has also been keeping some of the reporting on the Lahaina fires alive where it's pretty obvious that even people whom originally reported on it like Jimmy have grown tired and moved on.
I've watched some of Jardula's own content since he started hosting on Jimmy's show. On his own channel, he's more openly an advocate for "there's no electoral solution to our problems through voting". So there's some horseshoe theory common ground there as well with the right even if Jardula clearly has some leftist activist leanings.
Well, like I said above, he's ok. I do give him a lot of credit for going out there boots on the ground and talking to locals. Also championing some of the East Palestine, Ohio stuff.
My gut tells me he'll fall into identitarian traps every step of the way if there is some kind of populist revival / revolution.
I think Jardula is also more of an activist than a journalist, which is always going to make his takes more suspect.
Then again, the same can be said for 2023 journalism as a profession.
Jardula's also not a comedian, which changes the vibe on Jimmy's show.
I saw a lot of criticism that he didn’t gel with Kurt during Jimmy's long absence. Kurt Metzger is also a lightning rod on the show. Many hate his interruptiona even when Jimmy is hosting.
Personally, I think Kurt is the best part of the show. He's essentially the only comedic element on the program and often times the only one who seems to be enjoying themselves.
Edit: Left out a word.
Yah 'Kurp' is great. He writes a lot of the comedy on Kyle Dunnigan's channel. Some good shit on there. I like that he keeps stuff more casual on the show, instead of letting things feel too newsroom.
Jew moment lol
Whose national interest? What's the nation?
Liberalism also has to pretend not to be authoritarian. If it goes full mask off, it loses it's only selling point (liberty) which it uses to justify any and all drawbacks.
The nation is supposed to represent an ethnic state composed of people of kin relations that share a culture. Basically a size step up from tribe.
Not some corporate entity that naturalizes anybody who shits a baby out in a geographic region.
you are aware that the USA is occupied by zionists? we have been fighting their international conflicts. have you read the 'clean break' report?

Here's a good video where Ron Paul admits the US Government created Hamas for those who don't know their history.

The golem turns on the semite again? For the gorillionth time?
I believe I brought up the Avner Cohen quote in a comment around here a while ago.
Notice that the self-righteous Zionist shills will accuse you of being an Islamist Hamas lover for not wanting to fight Israel's war but don't call out Israel or Bibi for materially supporting Hamas. 🤡
Alex Jones was talking about this the other day
I can tell falling for the Iraq War bullshit had a profound effect on your politics. It did for me as well. It's amazing how just remembering important things like this effects you.
Saddam dared to not die in 1991 so we had to finish him in 2003? For what?
You are making the mistake at believing half the lies and wondering where it all went wrong. They were lying in 1991 too. And 1965 too. And 1945 too. Banker wars
Bush knew that Clinton's nation building was unpopular while campaigning in 2000; Youtube was great for casually educating on shit like this before ~2009. I get that the MI complex profits off it, but how many voters gave a shit about nation building in long disgraced Near East shitholes?
Fuck, but it STARTED with the bullshit of Gulf War 1. None of us in the West should have had anything to do with it, fuck Kuwait. They probably WERE fucking slant-drilling, ffs. Who gives a fuck? Let THEM sort it out.
Let the rest of us hope that all their goddamn heads explode like in Scanners.
For me it was watching news report lies about the Middle East while I worked with sensitive information that was contradicting everything
