Bitch, it's 95% rocks and moss of low biodiversity.
bUt teH pOLaR BeARs!
Polar bears aren't going extinct, as the inner-Arctic islands, even in the "apocalypse" fear porn, will remain a vast and suitable habitat. The populations there will actually rise.
Local southern subpopulations might/will die-out no matter the virtue-signals and self-destruction greenwashing policies.
The extreme greens are so brainwashed that if you show them the polar bear population was increasing, they'll say it was because the government enacted the environmental policies they lobbied for. And they'll pat themselves on the back and dig even deeper into their delusions.
I personally can't bother to look it up but I can give you pointers if you care, I remember a Swedish scientist who's spent a lot of his career going against Sweden's green tax and climate fearmongering, say that the polar bear population actually increased.
So Alaska, you better vote DEEP maga in every election coming forward if you want to remain a functioning state and not a barren Arctic wasteland..
Alaska is full of left leaning "libertarian" faggots.
Lots of Yellowstone meme guys out there.
Such as? Not sure I can invest in Saudi Aramco.
The safest bet is probably an index fund like XOP.
Transocean, Schlumberger. Those are the only ones I can think of right now.
Both are close to the 52 week high, I'm not sure he's right on this.
But the price of oil can't go much higher without triggering an economic panic over inflation, followed by a recession and crashing back down because of it.
There's really not much gain to be had here, in my opinion.
That's cute, you think the Fed will engineer a recession with piss-weak 5% rates when interest on the national debt is nearing $1,000,000,000,000.00 and the world is seeking alternative payments to the Dollar after watching the US seize Russia's foreign reserves.
To illustrate, tax receipts for 2022 was 4.9T dollars; that's 1/5 of taxes just servicing the debt, before the federal government even pays for shit like the military or gibs for the gibsmedats. On top of that, the feds can't even stay on budget with constant deficit spending and (now suspended) debt-ceiling raises.
Nothing short of austerity or a crippling, capital-D Depression will fix this shitheap of an economy. However, HYPERINFLATION is always on the menu.
That's presuming they can drill enough to put the prices down and they aren't already near capacity.
I wouldn't assume that. You could be right, but in my opinion, oil and gas in general is a bad option right now. You don't want oil to rise more than it already has because demand crumbles. You don't want oil to fall because your investment will.
Time to go for defensive stocks. (not defense stocks, unless you have zero morals).
Assuming you can profit without the government
seizing the means of productionnationalizing the petroleum industry for "national security".It's almost like the goal of the left is to destroy the west, and eliminate white people.
Almost... Like...
I can't wait for the expected verbal dribbles from the typical groups mumbling something about how the 'president' doesn't set gas prices.
Fucking morons.
If you check the comments the narrative is that Saudi Arabia intends to not ship as much oil so Republicans can get on the high horse.
As opposed to OPEC just taking advantage of our gutless leadership. But nope. Gotta blame Republicans, even when they're not in charge of fuck all.
Yeah, I'm not surprised.
Saudi Arabia has no income tax and funds its government through profits from its oil and minerals. Currently, they need oil to be $80/barrel to thread water. They're not going to eat a loss just so fat Americans feel good about fueling their SUVs.
States need to reassert their 10th amendment sovereignty and tell DC to fuck off.
This comes after he "refuted" claims of denying oil leases during the gas price crisis
Not like oil leases do anything when oil companies are constantly hobbled with exploration and drilling permits. If anything, it's in the feds' best interest to tie up companies with red tape and continue charging rent on land that they haven't even started work on.
President takes credit when gas prices go down, but when they go up it's those greeeeeeedy gas station owners Price Gouging™ on hardworking 'muricans.
So, as climate change is alledgedly melting the glaciers and making it easier to extract clean oil, we're going to stop?
Makes sense...
Is this administration trying to make a hopefully right-wing take-over look extremely-competent just for not being them?
Wouldn’t be surprised if Murkowski was fully onboard with it. Thanks McConnell…
OPEC will announce they'll be cutting production and the prices will go up.
They actually announced cuts before Biden's announcement.
