I got feedback from my UK friends since I asked them if they can subtlety ask if people would lockdown or at least mask up again since the UK just refused to comply and forced it's end naturally.
The consensus: FUCK OFF WE'RE NOT DOING IT AGAIN!
If states within America go full diaper face and yet a cucked country like the UK refuses, that's really going damage the US's reputation....more than it already is in the gutter. Key will be the Biden administration as I can see them trying to get other countries to join them but apart from Canada or Australia, I see NO ONE joining them in this.
If they attempt it in the US again, results will vary wildly state-by-state and even county-by-county. There are a few places that probably would, but there are a LOT of places where even people who enthusiastically masked last time won't do it again. If they try this, I suspect we'll see significant pushback even in the unbelievably liberal Los Angeles County...or else a significant contingent which simply ignore the rules regardless.
Hard to tell if the blacks will comply again this time, they have the fuck off government attitude but also weirdly hypochondriac, Mexicans will probably ignore it and pretend not understand Ingles when confronted by white soyboys, white liberal soyboys, omg yasss let me mask harder
Yeah, mask and lockdown success is going to vary wildly by ethnicity and political affiliation. Which is why this going to be so region-dependent, if they actually try it in earnest; Los Angeles County would have a harder time than e.g. Portland or San Fransisco, but a much easier time than pretty much any city or town with fewer than a hundred thousand inhabitants.
Where I am I still see some Blacks in masks.
Blacks, Asians, soy Whites and wheelchair-bound geriatrics tend to be the demographics I still see wearing them (though at low rates). This thing just flat-out broke some people, and at this point I figure if you're still wearing a mask you're probably going to spend the rest of your life wearing one.
the UK is cucked in a lot of ways, but their normie sources seem to be much farther along than the rest of the world in terms of covid. they're only giving the poison shots to people who """need""" it rather than everyone and their mother and child.
still far from ideal, but better than the rest of NATO.
I'm pretty sure that no one in NATO, even the US, is giving vaccines to anyone except the elderly and risk groups. I'm not aware of any country that does.
Not remotely true. The US CDC is still pushing the shot for anyone over 6 months.

Jesus Christ, they're absolutely whacked in the head.
But is anyone actually taking them, except 70+ and very fat people (which seems to be nearly the entire US)?
When the Euros act confused why the American right is so vehemently anti-government compared to in Europe, imagine this but applied to every aspect of everyday life.
It's not as if our governments are any better, if anything, they respect even fewer rights (I'm not entirely sure).
And some of the stuff that goes on here would blow the mind of any American. You know how much gas costs? Or that in some countries, you have to take back plastic containers to the store to get 25 cents back?
Still, it's not all bad. I don't think they'd tolerate rioters burning down cities. Thank god for small mercies.
I've been on the internet for ~30 years: if there's been once constant in all that time it's Euros telling Americans how expensive their gas is.
But Incompetent government isn't all bad either. This is such a big country that even if the government were competent it couldn't hope to police it all. An incompetent government staffed by diversity hires just makes it easier to get away with stuff.
Downside is you basically have to be an expert in at least half a dozen fields, because you can't trust anything the "expert" class says about anything.
Depends on who you ask. most people seem to have moved on from the covid cult, but I don't have an ear into the public school system and what they are still requiring.
Many healthy people did under pressure from work or event destinations
Yes, when there was an actual mandate. But right now?
Americans complied, so of course they're doing it all over again.
Here in Germany we had historic widespread protests even though protesting was illegal. We had apps to organize protests in even the smallest towns. The government got A LOT of pushback.
As the government is already HIGHLY unpopular, they don't dare to do that again. The German chancellor said he doesn't want to bring back restrictions. Of course he might flip flop later but I doubt it. There are a couple important state elections next year and they don't want to drive even more voters to the right.
Americans are more cucked than Germans. Let that sink in.
Edit: Of course that's one of the reasons why they flood countries with 3rd worlders: they are incredibly subservient when it comes to the government. For example, there were basically no non-Germans in all the protests I've ... uhhh ... seen ... from afar ... yes, far afar!
"My job is not to care about what my voters in Germany think, but to increase the profits of Pfizer and Moderna."
Your points are well-taken, but I don't see Americans doing nothing as their "allies" blow up their critical infrastructure.
The Euro normie thinks about the things the media tells him to think about. He has long forgotten about any "pipeline", after blaming Russia of course because that's what the media told him to think. The normie does not have persistent memory, he does not remember what happened a week ago or even yesterday, only what he's told to be angry about today. The normie thinks that he is anti-American, because he is Very Angry about George Floyd because the media told him to be, but any American foreign policy he unconditionally backs.
Now, if hundreds of thousands of Euros start dropping dead this winter due to unaffordable energy prices, things may change, but I'm not optimistic.
True but the non-normies in Europe are way more persistent than in the US.
In the US they had ONE protest and then got scared because the media called them mean names. Here in Germany getting called "enemy of the state" is just another day ending in Y for people who don't agree with the far-left establishment.
I see almost no one here who is as critical of the governments as some Americans are of theirs. I'm more critical than anyone I've encountered, and still by the standards of the Americans here, they think I "love government boot".
I think it's true for the coronavirus, because the leftists here don't like wearing masks either, as opposed to some Democrats for whom it seems to be a sacrament. In other words, it's more politicized there.
I don't think that's quite accurate. I see no evidence that they 'got scared'.
Before the past few years, I also thought that it was far more risky for Europeans to protest than Americans, but arresting people for memes, branding parents as domestic terrorists and the Jan 6 stuff is making me reconsider.
The US gets rid of their own pipelines. No outside help needed.
And all the unions that helped get Biden elected did nothing while their members went merrily on their way to the unemployment office ;)
Continental, but can confirm. Basically no one has as much as talked about corona for 1.5 years, and people will not get mad if they try to bring back restrictions - they'll just laugh in the face of the rulers out of amusement.
Of course, I'm saying this before any media propaganda campaign, but still.
It's easy to say never again. It will be quite another thing to follow through and actually rebel.
Actually it's very easy, barely an inconvenience
Just don't bother, don't ask for masks/don't put them on, don't bother with distancing, just live life as normal. You have the majority do that and NO authority can stop that without actually starting a real civil war.
If the UK can do it to where once they had the most authoritarian police to the most cucked police that they have to police tweets and pick on autistic teenage girls as a gang to feel big, what's stopping everyone else?
I'm never putting a nasty, bacteria-riddled petri dish on my face again.
I hope the people of LA resist this en masse and get this tyrannical hag out of office.
I don't blame people who wish that there ends up being less masks and even testing equipment in the world. It's all meant to artificially pump up the numbers.
The world stands with you, California. Resist! We cannot allow this to spread to the rest of the country.
The fact that they have a creepy zombie lady as their "health" minister never fails to amuse me.
I'm worried that they may not bring back mask mandates, because doing it will create a tremendous backlash.
Yeah, same. I want them to try it again.
My "resistance" last time was "forgetting" the magic talisman in my pocket hoping no staff would complain. Success rate depended on location ( city = REEEE MASK ON OVER THE NOSE ).
I voted without a mask during a period of big hysteria. Everyone "forgot" to notice. One volonteer made small talk.
If you have more spine, resist actively. At least "forget" constantly.
Haven't there been enough studies released since last time that proved that the masks did not prevent spread, that they became hotbeds for microbes and germs and made people sicker, and that they were highly damaging to the cognitive development of children?
Any government and anyone who willingly demands mask mandates be reinstated is a moron.
There are some people even in conservative areas who still double mask every day.
Then they are morons.
Yes. Morons who will cheer the government on as they try to lock us down again.
No doubt.
