Robert Kennedy, Jr.: Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.

Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: “I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time.”

Looks like another Kennedy is being lined up for removal.

Kennedy might be happy and be already set up with his own private security given how successful they were protecting his Uncle and father.

This is also a way for the Biden administration to attack and de-legitimize a threat to their campaign. Either RFK gets attacked and killed (win for Biden) or by refusing him secret service he gets considered a 'fringe' candidate by the media (win for Biden).

We're seeing brazen corruption in action yet again. Meanwhile Hunter gets a 6 car motorcade everywhere he goes and corrupt prosecutors get $1 million per week security details.

The same secret service that can't find who brought the cocaine to the white House?

I think their legitimacy had hit it's lowest for a number of years that in those terms they aren't a factor. This can only really work as an intimation tactic of 'we won't protect you'

Oh I'm sure they are shit at their jobs, but it is about appearance and importance.

These motorcades are mostly for ego and to ensure people are sufficiently 'wowed' so without it the candidate has no chance to appear legitimate.

It's more underhanded banana republic style bullshit.

I dunno . . . the SS probably feels it's being loyal when they clam up about finding Hunter's bag.

Kennedy admin officials are the primary source of the "JFK Conspiracy Theory" in that basically the whole administration thought it was a coup... except for apparently McNamara. This is mostly because LBJ acted like it was one, and this includes fist-fights between staffers in the white house.

Believe it or not, I absolutely do believe Oswald (a communist terrorist) shot JFK. It's actually pretty clear to me that that is the case. Sirhan Sirhan shot RFK, but I doubt it was simply him being a lone wolf.

The Secret Service just wasn't what it is now. That being said, I'm not confident the SS would like to see RFK dead. It'd be another huge embarrassment, and from all the leaks of the Obama admin, the SS fucking hate Joe Biden. I distinctly remember one leaked bit of information getting out about how an agent nearly punched him in the face because he groped the agent's wife.

RFK Sr successfully REMOVED a sitting president by beating him in the primaries.

Of course he got assassinated by the CIA a few days later..

"beating him" and "REMOVED" are doing a TON of work here.

RFK was dead before the convention was held. He was not leading in the delegate counts either, but was improving.

LBJ had already declared he had no intention of running for a 2nd term, so for all intents and purposes, he was a lame duck president at this time.

unlike almost everyone, this guy doesn't strike me as being controlled "opposition". I think he's actually genuine and this seems to confirm it.

mind you the regime going all out against someone is not proof that they're actually considered a threat (see: Trump)

He's an idiot Lefty, but I don't think he's 'controlled opposition' either.
