Why bother even having anything resembling a free market, when you can make everything even more fake?
Most ai consumers would be an upgrade over the npcs that currently consume media.

And then fans make their own versions, without paying, and it is superior in every way.
And then Hollywood sues these fans because the fans are stealing from Hollywood, while not even flinching in spite of the hipocrisy.
They will sue one or two people, but be unable to keep up. Instead, they will make a moral imperative that it be stopped.
