This has been the best 'pride month' ever! If this happens next year please let it have the banning of child mutilation, all states having more independent actionable rights and making EVERY gun restriction unenforceable so the ATF is disbanded.
Between abortion last year and this year’s rulings, I think the Supreme Court is going to get torn to shreds if a Dem wins the election next year. They’ll stack the Court with a dozen diversity hires to ensure nothing like this happens again for at least 50 years.
We'll be lucky to make it 5 years with the way things are going. They're already talking about putting ground troops into Ukraine to fight Russia and it's only a matter of time til the Pacific region is on fire again as well.
I think they're doing it, just under cover of volunteers, and medical aid, and whatever. You can watch some vids and hear the accents, see the tattoos.
Oh absolutely, even in the latest "Russian warcrime of hitting a totally civilian pizzeria", the subsequent videos showed that everyone there were soldiers speaking in American accents and wearing American combat patches.
I mean more in the broader overt sense. There's been concerning official talk about the upcoming NATO summit that ground troops will be sent into the conflict zone.
I don't see them stacking the court - too obvious, too much friction from that.
Instead they'll just kill one or two of the conservative justices. They already got away with protesting outside their homes, which no moral person could approve of; they're not held back by morality. The only question is how obvious it'll be.
If I was a conservative supreme I'd be spending like half my income on private security.
Even if you're a leftist, it shouldn't matter. Biden did not have the authority to do this. Didn't Pelosi admit it? So they're upholding something that Pelosi said was unconstitutional.
You and I might bite our tongues and go along with what was legal even if it ran counter to our ethics or other values, but these women are not there to be judges, they're there to be activists.
Something they will be keenly aware of when it's a Republican. When not if. The habit of every executive has been to grab more power than the last. The SC smacks them down sometimes. But it's always do it first and then try to justify it later.
I like it but something tells me the left is just as relieved they get to keep dangling this carrot to their latte serving arts degree base for years to come.
Was it a famous right wing philosopher who said “Elections have consequences” or was it just some guy who happened to get one correct for a change? I know this particular case isn’t as super-related to SJW/wokeism as the affirmative action one, but it’s nice that we have one branch of government as an effective bulwark against leftist social engineering, whether it’s of the SJW flavor or more in the way of your standard Marxist “free shit” flavor (like this case), for the foreseeable future. Even if the Dems hold or may hold the presidency and Congress (or parts of it) going forward, holding the branch least subject to change is going to be massive.
Keep in mind college tuition prices are massively inflated due to the government loan program - so the government should be at least partially responsible for those in debt, especially since most universities are already receiving direct money from the government.

For certain there's "military advisors" over there doing all but pulling the trigger.

Thank God.

HNNNG.
Three justices agreed with this wild power grab?
Of course the trio of Jackson, Kagan and Sotomayor agreed with it.
They are leftists not constitutional originalists.

Some have even said as such.

Incoherent 'living document' geeseshit. Establishment-left has always been about optics and tacit power, not systemic integrity.
Hahahaha.
I wish.
:'(
They were the Obama/Biden appointees...
They'd say pedophilia is constitutional if it's the party line, one of the judges shutting this down shat on them for being npcs in his opinions.
Of course, and if one more had joined them, Roberts the Cuck probably would have too, and it would have been 4-5.
Roberts loves being a tie breaker for his historical legacy.

Step 1: You take out a loan
Step 2: You pay it back
How the hell is this even a discussion? Maybe don't blow everything on Starbucks
You can thank Trump for this.
Now they'll just start screeching about how they need to expand and pack the Supreme Court again.
Someone save this comment for later. We should see this argument next week.
