Even if you're a leftist, it shouldn't matter. Biden did not have the authority to do this. Didn't Pelosi admit it? So they're upholding something that Pelosi said was unconstitutional.
You and I might bite our tongues and go along with what was legal even if it ran counter to our ethics or other values, but these women are not there to be judges, they're there to be activists.
Something they will be keenly aware of when it's a Republican. When not if. The habit of every executive has been to grab more power than the last. The SC smacks them down sometimes. But it's always do it first and then try to justify it later.
Yes, she did. But as others point out, those 3 are explicit activists.
I disagree with Robert Barnes that Justice Diversity Hire (Jackson) can be trusted on civil rights or civil liberties issues. She just happens to be tolerating them at the moment because they align with her politically. She has no interest in preserving civil liberties, because she has no interest in preserving the law.
Frankly, if you let her, she'd probably try to abolish the senate.
Of course the trio of Jackson, Kagan and Sotomayor agreed with it.
They are leftists not constitutional originalists.

Some have even said as such.

Incoherent 'living document' geeseshit. Establishment-left has always been about optics and tacit power, not systemic integrity.
Hahahaha.
I wish.
:'(
Yes, Pelosi said that from the beginning.
