Don the armor of reason, and her histrionic nonsense has no power. Don the armor of faith, and her words hold no power. There's no true authority to undergird them. Only emotional incontinence.
It's all a show. A sleight of hand. It's meant to make you think there's something powerful behind it. There isn't. It's all nonsense.
Unfortunately, it seems to be convincing to the most vulnerable people in the world. The most bitter and resentful people in the world. The ones most consumed by their envy and avarice. The ones least able to marshal their reason in service of something useful, or stand firm in their faith of something real.
Lunacy relies on obfuscation.
What does 'we need trans people' mean exactly? Well, it means that we could not do without delusional people who have incorrect beliefs about their gender. If they were cured, somehow society would collapse, or something.
Yet through packaging, they manage to hide the lunacy of the matter, as they do with the term 'trans people' itself, so that no even opponents remark on how crazy this is.
It sounds like she is saying she needs them to act as a shield.
Unfortunately, it does, because histrionics are far more contagious than reason. Especially in a society that actively abandons rational thought. Me donning reason does not stop her from having actual, tangible power to destroy all that I love.

As I posted earlier, trans is the most useful tool for the left as it's a very recent phenomenon that can be easily manipulated compared to other mental illnesses. Everything else from depression, schizophrenia, eating disorders etc have been known for centuries in history so they all have stigma whereas trans hasn't so is the perfect avenue for the left to use as a power grab for medical, access to children, speech, compelled employment etc.
