Good times like these have felt scarce lately. Josie, who's transgender, no longer feels welcome in Florida.

In Florida, the state medical boards began debating those bans last summer, and they went into effect in March. For months, Josie was terrified she would lose access to the hormones she takes to help her body align with her gender identity.

Oh, well if that’s what you want to call it sure, even though I’ve yet to ever meet a passable troon, tell yourself the hormones help.

Most major national medical associations agree gender-affirming care is safe and effective. But the Florida medical boards argued the treatments were "experimental," and barred doctors from prescribing them to minors.

No, they do not agree it is “safe and effective” as long term use HAS NEVER BEEN FULLY STUDIED. Short term use shows massive complications if the person decides to detransition.

even though I’ve yet to ever meet a passable troon,

I've never met a passable MTF, and the one FTM I've met was easily recognizable through the beard and mustache by the feminine mannerisms it still displayed.

Things like holding their hand in front of their mouth when in shock or disbelief, still having a purse (or a bag similar to one), the abnormally short height for a man, and the voice, which never really sunk to a man's register.

The one fake man I've ever met reminded me of nothing more than the episode of Beavis and Butthead where they glued chopped up hair to their faces.

We're talking about people pushed into slicing off healthy body parts.

Most major national medical associations agree gender-affirming care is safe and effective.

They've learned that lying works.

Someone I know was diagnosed with breast cancer and had her breasts removed. She describes it as the most painful and traumatizing event of her life.

They abuse people, lie that they're helping them, keep on abusing them. They're evil.

You might even call it… demonic

The link in the article makes no claim that is "safe and effective", just because someone supports something does not mean they think it is "safe".
It also contains stuff like:

73% lower odds of suicidality over a ** 12-month follow-up.**

Does not mention anything about side effects or social contagion. So complete bullshit.

And then after 12 months? Probably same or higher rates

That's the point, they get an initial euphoria that goes away after 1-2 years and then they go deep in to depression.

At this point the phrase is actually a warning, no?
