I know a lot of people, so by extension I know a lot of stupid people. The stupid people always just directly copy things they heard that they thought were funny in an attempt to be seen as clever and funny, which is basically what these AI generated captions are.
Stupid people will love it, so that is like 50% of the population built in as the target demographic.
