Parents can still love you while not supporting your choices in life. Why that is hard for these people to comprehend is beyond me
Because the few hundred cases from across the country where parents disowned their kids for being gay, all went to Santa Fe and New York, or Trinidad, CO in the case of trannies, and founded their culture on that experience.
A gay child is a dead end on the heritage branch, usually. They should not be included in any will or property transfer.
Why is this upvoted?
It's not a complex or difficult concept.
Gay child = no reproduction = no genetic legacy/heritage.
Then again you're an anti-natalist so obviously it's not worth actually having this conversation.
My sister thinks that way. My Mom is religious and doesn't agree with all the LGBT crap, but if someone brought a gay or trans friend to my mom's house for dinner, my mom would treat them with respect just like everyone else. She wouldn't try to talk them out of it. She wouldn't even broach the subject.
But that's not good enough for my sister. In her eyes, our Mom is no different from someonewho openly hates gay people.
I’m a Christian and I’m like your mom. Unless they wanted to have a theological discussion I wouldn’t bring it up. One time I was asked what I thought of gay marriage and I said as a Christian marriage is between a man and a woman but I’m not trying to stop gays from marrying. I was called hateful
My libshit brother brings up "muh Christians" every time we visit. My mother would humor him and try to be understanding; meanwhile, I go in the opposite direction and become a pitch-black nihilist to crush his spirit.
Hello, based department?
tbf you might just be a figment of his imagination.
Bigots are people who have an extreme intolerance of opinions with which they disagree.
Thanks for the reminder. I guess people need to understand this because the term is thrown around way too much
See you gotta get out of that mindset. We need to openly condemn this shit now more than ever.
Well as Christians we need to love people enough to speak the truth.
Because they've been told that anyone who isn't 100% in agreement with them is their mortal enemy.
True. I just can’t imagine going through life needing 100% affirmation for everything I do
They cant want to actively oppose your life choices because they love you.
I don't have to worry about my kids being gay because they live with both bio-parents in the house and we've never allowed them to be sexually abused.
