Hmm...I guess Fetterman is cool though?
Fetterman is in a battleground seat subject to an advanced special election which could be easily won by a Republican if he steps down. So they will "weekend at bernies" him until the bitter end.
Feinstein is in a safe deep blue seat in CA so "progressives" want her out.
They can easily get another Dem to replace this old hag. They'll let Fetterman limp along until 2029 if they can't find a guaranteed way to lock the Republicans out of the seat. I think their fuck ups in New York last year might have undermined their confidence in their ability to rig elections.
I keep trying to tell people and no one believes me. The situation is far more in our favor than people would like to think. It will still be a slog, but it is winnable in 2024 and beyond, because there are too many bushfires in too many locations for them to fight them all, and some of them are already out of control (like Texas and Florida).
Florida and to a lesser extent Ohio are beautiful examples of the Dems' dirty tricks coming back to bite them in the ass. As part of their stolen election narrative to undermine Bush 43's presidency they pushed hard for election security measures in Florida and Ohio after they lost those states in 2000 and 2004 respectively. Now those "swing" states get redder with every passing year because the measures they supported while they were throwing their shit fits stopped them from stealing any more elections. You have to wonder how many elections they stole back when they were still smart enough to keep their mouths shut.
Schiff is trying to take her seat, but it is interesting to see the Democrats demand accountability while also demanding patience with Fetterman.
I'm guessing she may be in committee positions, while lumpy is new to the job.
I read she was on four committees, including the judiciary.
Feinstein was a KGB asset when she was still a teenager. Few more evil women exist, and I'll celebrate when she dies.

Never had shingles (though I am a carrier due to childhood chickenpox), but I've heard it's a painful and miserable experience. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person.
