Did anyone else find it weird how both Ellie and Clementine, both adoptive daughters to the protagonists in a zombie apocalypse, ended up being queer? What caused that? Did the developers crib notes off each other? Was it just coincidence? Did they think they were being so daring and original?
Also, I’ve seen so many people saying “there are gay ppl in the game” because now it’s so important to stick to source material. Never played the game but I heard the expanded on the hat stuff in the show. However, just like people are tired of the notion that black ppl have to be in everything, why is it hard to understand people getting tired of massive overrepresentation of lgbt?
But I guess I should be surprised they decided to expand on that. In the Wheel of Time book’s homosexuality isn’t all that prominent but I hear in the show they really ramp it up
It does but you kind of get some dialogue choices and stuff throughout the DLC, you can make it pretty clear you just want to be friends but she always kisses Ellie at the end no matter what.
The real worst part of the episode was Ellie saving Joel from a punctured liver and perforated bowel by stitching his belly skin back together with a needle and thread.
