There's IPTV services you can pay for that claim to let you stream thousands of channels. From what I've seen you pay with crypto. Still sketchy though.
Oh I've used some of them that sell devices. (though I just put the software on my firetv myself) Usually you pay via PayPal. I'm just skeptical that there's any gang or terrorist link here. Quasi state-sponsored? Maybe but I doubt it. Simplest answer is some guys in a basement or IT office after hours making a quick buck by filling unmet market demand.
