“Published estimates” is the buzzword, they have no proof of efficacy so they simply do the Fauci and take the 98% effective published and then adjust for each new variant. What’s hilarious is that the Covid death numbers are so fucked to begin with the study actually suggests the numbers have been inflated based on their trend results.
Unfortunately, this power can be used for evil as well. This is exactly how global warming was created as well and that will end humanity in 10 years time if we don't do something RIGHT NOW!

Ya fucked the world economy for years and ruined an entire generation's social development. That's gonna result in a lot more premature deaths than the direct side effects of the injection once the final count is tallied.
I don't care if the injection saved literally every person who took it, the cost of the last three years is still too high for it to be justified.

Because if it isn't, it isn't worth anything as a study. If an ancient old woman lives one day longer than her actuarial tables predict, is that "one life saved"? If it's a day shorter, is it "one life lost"? The terms are meaningless, they are trying to present a "profit" value, without either "revenue" nor "expenses".
