Reminds me of how they moved from paper bags to plastic because "muh trees". Then they started charging for plastic bags because "muh oceans". Now they're banning plastic bags but don't want to give us back paper bags. Instead they want to sell you a fucking tote bag that most people don't wash, usually forget at home, has a higher CO2 cost to make (requiring about 171 uses, or over 3 years of weekly grocery trips to break even [and doesn't get into the energy used to wash it]), and likely results in forests being cut down to grow your stupid fucking textile.
Every environmental policy is usually communist power grab
"Usually"
The remaining of them are capitalist cash grabs.
((Usually))
"Don't dump toxic chemicals in the drinking water" seems pretty benign to me, but I'm willing to hear you out on how that too is a communist power play.
Because they don't care about SSRIs in deranged spinster piss or chemicals turning the frogs gay.
