Elon Musk: 'Wikipedia has a non-trivial left-wing bias'
Wikipedia is voting on the deletion of a page covering the topic because its editors have deemed it a 'nothing burger,' with many claiming that the story isn’t 'notable' because mainstream media outlets did not provide it with significant coverage.
Wikipedia is useful for only on reason, to tell you the plot to movies and games so you can see if it's woke garbage or not.
It does feel like Twitter being taken over is a net win as it has felt like all leftist actors are scrambling around like bugs after you pull a wall down, now to just take advantage of their disorder..
Or if you want to check a famous person's Early Life section for whatever reason.

Need to update that meme with Kanyes face.
You reminded me of something funny I once found. Robert Altman should best be known as the guy that started Bethesda down the path of being greedy and lazy. I just think it's funny that the history of his birth was one of the things changed after he died. Luckily, someone managed to save an archive of both for a perfect before and after comparison. https://archive.ph/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_A._Altman
They simply moved the "Early Life" to "Personal Life" That's all.
True, but that's still an odd thing to do. They even significantly changed how they phrased it.
Because "Early Life" is now a neonazi hate phrase.
That sounds about right for their narrative. How much longer until they decide that "pattern recognition is white supremacy" or some such thing too?
The Gold Stars they put at the bottom of every bio are amazing.
"Jewish American film directors", "Lesbian comedians"...
Oh, my. They should put it at the top of the page though so I don't have to press End.
Wikipedia is good for a lot of things but the thing they're best for is a good chortle when the dishonest overpaid 1984 woke lying pieces-of-shit staff begs me for money and I click "I've already donated"
But I didn't. I didn't donate, and I never will :-3
use https://wikiless.org/ instead
It's a privacy-friendly front-end to wikipedia.
The reason I go to wikipedia for me it's useful when I want to read in another language. I would absolutely love to have something equivalent to wikipedia. Infogalactic doesn't quite cut it.
One of the co-founders of wikipedia is supposedly working on a new alternative to wikipedia (not just another wiki but a completely new system), but I have no idea what's happening with that.
Just use infogalactic

Nice.👍

Most of Earth: “The MSM is biased.” Wikipedia: “Cite MSM source to confirm this claim.” 🤣🤣
Wikipedia has a non-trivial left-wing bias.
@jimmy_wales , what are your thoughts?
When The Daily Beast is utilized as a factual reference then you have to go hmmm. Britannica is online now, Wikipedia has very little use aside from being a mouthpiece
Pink News, Variety, Rolling Stone opinion pieces ✅
Actual investigative journalism ❌
Stopped going there when the mask fell off over their coverage of gamer gate. Worst part about it was that it validated the criticisms all of my teachers made about over the years prior. A real low blow for me.
And in a way, they are right.
It's not notable because there's almost nothing new. There's virtually nothing we haven't known for nearly two years.
All we've gotten is a view into the conversations that made it happen, but we already knew this shit happened - the specific words of the people involved are almost meaningless.
What is not meaningless is the same undeniable reality that we have been pointing out repeatedly for 5 years or more; These companies are acting like publishers. They are not behaving like carriers, yet they are enjoying the protections of section 230.
They need their feet held to the fire: Act like a carrier, or lose 230 protection.
The evidence is novel
The squishy headed are so totally desperate to memory hole this, aren't they? Sad thing is they'll probably succeed.
Because Rebel News is full of trackers and garbage.

Doesn't even work on non-chromium browsers anymore either. Can still see how many trackers there are with https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/ematrix/ though.
This has been going on for years. Wikipedia has been vandalized by dawa activist groups (Muslim extremists) and thousands of Wiki entries on Islam, Muslims and Western science have been seeded with garbage that they were the first to invent something, when the actual things they produced were as laughable as calling a bicycle image drawn in the sand an actual functioning automobile with a combustion engine.
And why were all those preposterous links never corrected? Because of the unholy and schizophrenic Left-Islamic (ultraconservative religious reactionary right) alliance.
And their output is generally anti-Western. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
