So of course, in Orlando, they asked for bids from the major amusement parks to have a direct access rail station built. Disney’s response was to scoff at the idea of a bid, and say that if anything, the railroad should be paying them for “driving traffic” on the line. Needless to say, they lost the bid to Universal.
