Everybody quickly forgot how the sciences were in Soviet Russia and pretends that it would be different somehow when it's OUR turn to be ideologically corrupt.
In a former job I worked with biologists and geologists writing software. You could definitely see the difference as the wokest generation (millennials) started invading.
It used to be gather facts, draw conclusions and defend them as they were torn apart during peer reviewed.
Now it's form a narrative, find (or create) facts that support it and cancel anyone that doesn't "listen and believe". You can see it most prevalently in the whole climate change grift.
I don’t see it mentioned often enough that “science” (at least, the medical/surgical parts of it) stands to make billions from the transgender industry, with, in essence, the “medicalization” of formerly relatively healthy bodies (if not brains)…
They have a vested interest, here, much like obviously with things like mental illness and ADHD…
No wonder the science supports the narrative that “transing” is a perfectly valid treatment regime…

I just see these kinds of stories and it gets a bit annoying, feels like those click/rage-baitey buzzfeed things you'd see where anyone with a shred of common sense realizes that this doesn't matter at all in the grand scheme of things. Australia has been fucked for the better part of 20 years and has contributed nothing to society aside from one meh-ish season of survivor and a crocodile enthusiast who died to stingrays.

Whenever you see a female Oz scientist- always post this article and say it is a shame she didn’t get the job due to merit.
