The USA was energy self-sufficient, driving hydrocarbon prices down all across the board, and depriving Russia of much needed capital to fuel its military adventurism. Then Biden and the Democrats came to power, drove up fuel prices with their green lunacy and long-term anti-'oil- and gas industry' policies, which created the perfect circumstances for Russia to invade Ukraine: the entire world was reeling from the pandemic and its supply chain issues, China was suffering from economic hardships, Western countries had underwent one-too-many economic crises, the OPEC countries wanted a restorative revenue influx for their last earnings from the Trump years and Russia had enough financial leeway to once again afford a military campaign.
Add to this the arguments presented in the article and it's obvious that the Democrats are the most dangerous political party in existence and are a direct threat to European interests.
Less coal please, More nuclear and at this point any nuclear...
So why wasn't Europe crying out to work something out with Russia instead of "muh Ukraine"? They chose to virtue signal at their own demise.
