ATTENTION SLAGS! Have we got the latest and hottest rising STD for you! Barely treatable, almost incurable even. They don't test for it, only test is like super rare. It's easy to catch, hard to notice, and it causes birth/fertility issues. It's simply must have! (archive.ph)

I have caught this STI before and it's actually really annoying to catch in Canada. Why? Because doctors aren't aware of it. I had symptoms of some sort of STI but came back negative on everything. Literally had a doctor in Canada tell me maybe I wasn't changing my underwear enough. Gotta love our immigrant doctors. I convinced a doctor it was this by doing my own research. Treated it with one round of antibiotics. That didn't fix it. I convinced him to give me a second round of antibiotics and that actually did fix it but then I got a yeast infection from too much antibiotics and my gut got fucked up. Ended up taking about a year to fix myself after catching this.

Oh and I asked them to test me for this but they couldn't even test for this. First of all, the doctors didn't even realize there was a test for this. I had to show them the health Canada website that said there was a test. Once they realized there was a test, the doctor had to specially request the test in the "other" category because there's no tickbox for this. Well, all the hospital staff who are useless as fuck got all confused since it was non-standard and no one could figure it out. In the end, I went for a pee sample but then they told me they couldn't actually test for it because the place they sent the pee too didn't have the test available so I ended up wasting a whole bunch of time for nothing. I'd probably have to drive to a different city to get testing done but then figuring out which clinics or hospitals have the equipment and capability for testing for this would be nearly impossible to figure out. No medical staff, doctors included, even realize this is even an STI.

The article mentioned that a diagnostic test wasn't approved in the US for this until 2019 and it's still only recommended as a last resort.

I'm not surprised at all that you had trouble obtaining it in Canada.

It's baffling to me how anyone could be an atheist, when "coincidences" like this happen so consistently. All the bevy of sins have real world consequences, almost as if we were told not to do them for a reason. Gluttony, sloth, whoring and more, all lead to medical conditions that will kill or deform you.

And no matter what bizarre alchemy that the false god of "Science!" tries to provide to let people escape consequences, stuff like this just keeps on happening.

It's always baffling to me that people think in terms of everything being either a reward or punishment like complacent dogs. Bacteria are bacteria, it exists to exist. There can be an escape to these consequences if people practiced their sluttery safely, but the people practicing sluttery are fucking dumb.

The kind of mentally and morally diseased person who does practice sluttery, isn't capable of doing so safely.

Both things make sense, it can be divine plan or it can be entropy. The more I learn about the bible the more it looks like an instruction manual on how to behave and avoid negative consequences in your life.

"Hey, I know some shit'll mess your life up if you do it because I've observed it happen over and over.."

"Society don't care what you say. We gon fornicate and eat parasite-ridden meat."

"uhh... God said it. I'm just passing it on."

"Oh shiet, okay. We stop."

Yes, because humans are social creatures that naturally form social heirarchies. That "alpha beta omega" stuff was basically just humans projecting their OWN social organizations onto randomly-put-together wolves in captivity. The preacher knows God is just a metaphor for nature, but the simple-minded folk who don't understand metaphor or simile take everything at face value (look at the people who thought actual, canine coyotes were being blamed for bringing humans over the Mexican border with the USA. Now imagine no one correcting them, and their descendants telling stories about coyotes carrying Mexican babies to safety, and painting pictures that featured actual coyotes with little human babies. Then, after a few more generations, two or three, it becomes a cultural story - "My people were brought here by Coyote", and you have the story of the Merovingians being sired by a sea monster.)

Some of the bible, like the holy rules/laws are based upon teaching uncivilized people how to keep from fucking and dying horribly. Like honor thy elders tends to keep incest down and help the spread of knowledge (by keeping those who lived it alive). Rules on food were necessary to prevent bad diseases. Cleansing rituals, again, to prevent disease.

Before writing, old people with long memories, and who were good at remembering in general, WERE the databases.

I suspect my minister would say it's part of the fallen state of the world. Sin corrupted everything, not just people.

No such thing as safe sluttery. It always catches up to you physically or mentally usually both

You're arguing chicken vs egg, but that falls flat when you consider that historically there are far more degenerate and outright evil religions out there than not. Take islam for example, they're genuinely depraved, and engage in pretty much 90% of the same degenerate sexual behavior as the sodomites of the west.

And they ostensibly are an abrahamic religion. Why haven't they achieved this cultural zeitgeist you're talking about?

Or the Hindus, where raping actual babies is a thing and human sacrifice was only outlawed in the 90s. The 1990s. They're nearly as degenerate as the mud slimes, so they haven't gotten the memo either and they've been around even longer.

It's not just pattern recognition.

This fails to address my point. Why is it that the only societally and civilizationally beneficial religion is genuine Christianity? (As opposed to fake Christians like Methodists)

It's asking to believe a greater coincidence than the existence of a deity, to believe that all of these Christian men but only them, bothered to devise a useful religion and everyone else not only did not, but are still happily snowed by their leaders.

Not buying it. Especially because we aren't talking about dietary restrictions here(pardon the fish pun, that's a red herring), we're talking about morality and moral foundations.
